First thing log your food, even if it makes you cringe a little, knowledge is power. Second start with small changes. How about instead of all salad and veggies every day. How about one serving of veggies every day? And maybe a 5 minute walk?

Also is you don't have a glucose meter, get one. I test my blood sugar when I am fasting to see how I am doing. I don't do it everyday, but I will test for a week and see how I am trending. I also test when I feel "off" so that I can learn what my body is trying to tell me.

I am also prediabetic and want to prevent going into full diabetic. My last blood sugar was 95 but my fasting insulin was 25, which means I am insulin resistant. Where is everyone from? and what is your biggest food weakness? I am from south central Wisconsin, and baked goods are my down fall. Chips I can ignore, ice cream I can ignore, but put me in a room with a pan of brownies and I can't control myself.

Good morning everyone! I am in. My over all goal is to be 170 lbs, I am currently 235 lbs. I am struggling to stay consistent. At my last Dr appointment I was told i am prediabetic and that scares.me. let's move forward together.

I love my chiropractor, I think you just have to find one that suits you. My husband sees the same chiro as me but doesn't like his neck or wrist adjusted...so they don't do it. She also will let you decide if you need another appointment or if you just want to wait and see how things feel in a couple days.

I think you need a hobby to do in the afternoon. Knitting helps me keep my hands busy, doing a word search, or reading. Have you thought about going to bed earlier?

Moday was a rough day for me. I was super tired by the time I was done with work, I took a power nap, but that didn't help. From Wisconsin here, and no I don't watch football. :expressionless: Weigh-in is on Monday but feeling good today. Having a good week with working out 2 days and then haveing a day of rest. I still need to get my food under control. I am nervous/excited I have my measurments done again in 2 weeks with the personal trainer.
