My poison for the day? DAYLIGHT. *HISsssssssssss*

This is what I think of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzY7qQFij_M Chia seeds are a way to get a little more protein and fiber into your diet, but nothing magical.

To up protein without sacrificing too many calories I've seen people use 1 or 2 whole eggs, then the rest egg whites. I never toss out any part of a whole egg, but have relied on cartons of purely egg whites bought at the store.

People are not finding issue with the fact that you've chosen a low carb diet to get to your dietary goals. It's wonderful that you've found something that works out for you. I hope you continue to find more success with you dietary lifestyle change! The main issue is that you're claiming that your low carb diet does not…

Did you guys happen to check the date of the original post? 3 years ago.

BAHAHA, I read all three book reviews. This woman is absolutely hilarious in her criticisms of the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy.

I like regular pasta over whole wheat. Whole wheat pasta has a horrible texture to me, all gritty and bleh.

Buzzfeed did a video where a couple of the people who eat meat on a daily basis went to a poultry farm and slaughtered their own chickens to eat. It was rather interesting to watch, actually; when you don't grow up in an environment where you raise and slaughter your own food, to see your reaction to doing as such.

I don't remember if this was already posted, but OP, you should read this forum thread: Looking For a Detox/Cleanse?

I'm lactose intolerant so beforehand I'd only just use sweeteners. I transitioned into drinking it black. Maybe give it a try?

Gotta be prepared for any occasion.

Nope. I'm pretty sure that Miley Cyrus video gave me eye cancer.

Lol....good luck OP. You've gotten quite a few helpful responses; make your own decisions on what will be sustainable for you.

To be brief, I disagree with your claim that a "sugar addiction" exists. Compulsions to eat or overeat, sure. Not an addiction though. One should not compare sugar to alcohol, or drugs. Apples and oranges. The post I quoted is a very reasonable response.

I wanted to bump this post. This is a wonderful response.

Unhelpful advice given by a so called expert? I remember a doctor telling me that I had a medical condition that was "kind of similar" to another condition but "not exactly like" said condition. So I'm like, "Well, what do I do about it?" "Oh don't worry about it. You might have some issues further down the road though.…

The quote function is getting butchered..

You've done wonderfully in losing 80 lbs, congratulations! Like others have said, just keep doing what you're doing and eventually it'll come off. Unfortunately we can't spot reduce where fat will come off (would be amazing if that were possible). But seriously, 80lbs is amazing!
-
OP, I think you've gotten plenty of useful responses from your thread. It's ultimately your decision. Best wishes.

You should span them over a couple of days. I say this purely because it'll probably be easier to fit into your daily caloric intake without going over. I don't believe in demonizing foods. Donuts are just another source of fat and carbs. Don't throw out food, that is extremely wasteful.

I think I heard somewhere that 100g is a good starting point. I googled this, and it seems to be like a reliable source: How Much Protein Per Day? Are you using the MyFitnessPal (MFP) method of calculating how many calories you intake, or Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE)? Also for whoever asked, CICO is an…

If prunes and bran don't do it, then the fiber gods hath forsaken thee. :|

I use it in my hair every once in awhile. I work it from the roots down to the ends, then put my head up in a bun because it feels super greasy. The next morning I shampoo twice, then after blowdrying it feels all silky.

Just for good measure:

Sigh....you know, I don't usually use Wikipedia as a source but it pretty much strikes down everything that young woman in that video said. Early strains did indeed produce insufficient amounts of Vitamin A. New strains of rice were developed to combat that problem. And the comment about higher crop yields? "The University…

Re-posting this since it seems to have been missed. I'd also suggest looking up Golden Rice.
