thanks, I do have Polar FT4. I do the above, from storing separately to washing regularly, but did loan it to a friend who may not have done such. will be going thru and trying all the different steps again, and hope it works! yesterday I bent over to tie my shoe, my HRM was supposedly 243!

Any size, long as I look good naked!! :smooched: Currently can wear anything from a 4 to a 10, an adult large to a childs medium, so I refuse to go by clothing size. when I feel comfortable in my skin, that's my ideal!

Asics kayano. Just ran my last real road run in my old ones, they are delagted to sloppy trail runs now, as my new 19s just came in. Love love love them, no issues with plantar fascitiis or hip issues I had with other brands...already have my new pair on order for when they are released in July!

In high school I ran just over 5:30 a mile. Now at 43, I run 9:45 minute a mile pace.....you did it, you did great, dont let him brin you down from that high you felt!

I added you, am a returning runner, just did my first 5k in 25 years Saturday, my first half is May 5. My plan, finishing, even if I crawl over the finish line!! I am hoping for 12 also, tho I injured a tendon before Easter, and lost some of my distance prep, one way or another, I will finish!!

Just read an article this morning about whether you run a 15 minute mile, or a 5 minute mile, the act of running is still running, and even some of the worlds fastest runners think they run slow! :happy:

Why can't you combine them??? Lose as you train? Long as you are properly fueling your body, and not eating back exercise calories, should all come together. I shed 24 since Jan by doing this...my first half is May 5

Thanks :-) at this point, I am still unable to run...drs orders, just extended til Monday...I am now resolved to what is, well, is. If I walk and run, whatever, I will do the race, just not on my original terms. I will finsih the race. Then I will begin for my next! I have injured the tendon from my foot to shin, right now…

Solo. Either they irritate me, bc I want the quiet peace from my kids, or they run slower than me...and I am not fast!
