That's so good that you are weighing and getting into the habit. I love the scan-n-read app on the item and weigh it to match hehe. So easy from before, when it wasn't invented yet. You may find you tend to eat the same stuff, say at a particular meal. That's easy too.

Bacon-wrapped baby potatoes. Wash the spuds. Roll in sea salt. wrap a half piece of bacon around it. Cook in crockpot till bacon is brown. If you eat a ton of em, of COURSE it will be higher in calories than if you just ate a couple :) But hey, bacon and potatoes. Plus its easy to store spuds when you're camping! Method: 1…

What did the bloodwork show? Did you get your results back?

Carnivore here. If my Fat and Fiber macros are low, I'll get hankering for something else. Fast food places, Processed food, sugary foods like treats, "white" starchy like rice, will leave me craving big time. If I eat 4 different veggies at an early dinner then that stuff stays with me lots longer. So.... add a bit of…

My salad fixin's will usually get sautéed and tossed in with eggs for morning breakfast. Its a way to get more added green/veggie fiber in the day (for me.) Add a dash of dry mustard.

Ya am not a fan of the popup ad for the premium. Having to click it off all the time is annoying. I had the premium briefly and didn't see a difference in the way I used the app or the way it helped my intake. Am sure there's lots that enjoy the paid-app but getting that annoying pop-up ad to go away once and for all would…

Also, look at your label to compare. I had a discrepancy on 2 items right after your post. The manufacturers change up their labels.

Usually if you type in USDA after the item it will have correctly info.i weigh it all. Also boneless skinless if has a bone in (like T-Bone steak), I weigh before and after whatever didn't get swallowed. (Gristle, fat, bone.)

A week is an excellent beginning! Keep it up!. I log even the down n dirty as it is benefiting in the short and long run.

Wow you look amazing!!! Well done!

I'll jump in.... I took a peak at your diary but its closed. So...without seeing what your macros are set at.... switch out starchy veggies to more leafy and 'solid' greens in your vegetable portions. Try high-fiber such as raspberries and blackberries in your fruit portions. In carb portion go for a higher fiber count…

Is your diary open? If an open diary, perhaps can take a quick look at where going wrong. First of all, are you weighing and logging correctly? Weighing your food (vs using measuring cups) is key. Also, it seems your calories are set too low for that starting weight. You should not go below your Resting Metabolic Rate. (I…

you can add protein powder to just about any traditional dessert to add more protein to it. I add Genepro Next Generation Protein Powder (GNC) flavorless to cookies, breads, brownies, pastries, etc. Doesn't melt enough for puddings but have used it in cooked thickened sauces.

I do agree opening up your diary would be helpful. Are you weighing everything you are logging with a digital food scale? Making sure the entry is correct in the macros? (I've run into some discrepancies; pays to pay attention.) Hitting your macros? Watching Sodium? There's an old thread on here with links that would be…

I think my kids ate green beans or corn for full straight several years while they were little. I used to put "anything green, blended" in spaghetti sauce. Blended whatever I had with a little Bullit Blender. Kids didn't see it, haha. For raw veggies, always had a "dip" ready for them. Like whatever "white" dip they…

My android app was not saving food logging, then when it did, it would save the same food log multiple times. Also, it would not save a personal recipe. the laptop AND the android would not save the personal recipe. So I disabled the android app and re-installed....and now, ALL my food logging is wiped out on the android,…

What a fantastic boost to read in your chart. I would proud as punch, too :)

I park way out all the time and don't give it a second thought. I also don't automatically take the elevators.

Can we revive this thread? Its funny. Not too long ago, turned in a dozen-ish ID cards for the local jail here. Found them in a back lot type of strip-mall. The Sheriff said they were all Wanted Felons, none in the jail (yet), and wanted the whole story of where I found em. Had their photos on them, names, dob, the whole…

Husband similar like you. His body doesn't absorb iron. His blood work showed no absorption. He ended up doing daily injections for a few months, then down to a few a month, now one or two every 6-ish months. they hurt, not gonna lie. My thoughts are to keep track of this and your blood work, and ask about injections if…

I really miss being able to pop into a convenience store and getting my own syrupy-laden fountain diet coke. You know, with a tad bit of delicious diet dr. pepper squirted on the top. Sliding my reusable straw into the lid hole and slurping it down. And now, I really miss 7-11 Slurpee's. *sigh*

Super cute. Does that dress have little cutouts design/lace I see? You look fantastic.
