Down Dog has a HIIT app and a 7 minute workout app that may fit the bill.

I like Jillian Michaels, but that’s not free... maybe try fitness blender? I see that recommended quite a bit. Or Cassy Ho of Blogilates- she uses body weight exercises mostly.

I’ve been using the Peleton digital app. I haven’t used just the audio yet as my schedule has not allowed me to run outdoors. But I have done a few of the treadmill classes and they have been good. I’m on my free trial period right now, but I think I’m going to keep the app.

Super helpful thread. Thank you. I don’t have a squat rack at home so I have been doing front barbell squats and was struggling with 75 lbs today (I’m 147lbs for reference) and was getting super frustrated with myself. This helps.

That marathon is in my bucket list, but not this year- I don’t have the time needed to commit to training in this stage of my life.

I love my kettlebell but have not used a dvd when working out with it. I have had the Lauren Brooks DVD’s recommended to me, and I’ve watched samples and I like her style, but the dvds are expensive and I usually workout in my garage.

I don’t remember how much we paid- but I love our Sole F80.

Jillian has a new lifting only video. It hasn’t come in yet, but I ordered it. It’s called lift and shred.

That’s goofy not sure where the rest of my post went... my question is would it be better to Lift heavy or do a Jillian Michael type dvd to tone up, get stronger, and get the benefits of strength training.

I shoot for 3-5 miles 5 days a week and a longer run(6-10) on the weekend. I do strength training 2?days a week as well. I want to do a Yoga class once a week, but haven’t been able to make that happen yet. I don’t have a race I’m training for, but may look for a half in early summer and one in the fall. I’m doing my first…

To lose weight just eat at a deficit of what you consume. To get fit- run for cardio health and strength train for building muscle and getting stronger. That said- go by how you feel. If you feel like you have more in you than do something more- just don’t hurt yourself. It’s not worth it. Oh, and to answer your other…

I run outside when I can. On the treadmill when I can’t. I am finding I like the treadmill more lately than I used to, but I am still ready for it to be warm so I can get back outside.

I had never heard of them before. Looks interesting. One of the other retreats I saw was around $2500, so not cheap, but not unreasonable.

My husbands company does this. I just wear my Fitbit and it syncs up to let them know I reached my goal for the day. It's not a "smart" Fitbit so they can't use it as a location device- though with phones and social media, and Amazon- that's not exactly a secret either.

Love my Brooks ghosts. Tried the adrenalines everyone raves about this time- and will definitely be going back to my tried and true Ghosts.

The crockpot method is great. I've done it several times.

There is a very large Facebook group that has files that can help you understand the basics without buying the book right away. There is a blog "Gwen's nest"that has a great QuickStart guide that many find helpful. I admit there is a bit of a learning curve, but it works.

Yes. I just use MFP to make sure I'm not constantly over doing calories

This is the theory behind the new book I am reading called Trim and Healthy Mama. Thanks for sharing, even if it has been several years! :)
