I've geen logging for a while now and accepting new friends. I just ask that you have a profile picture and your profile information filled out. Cool?

Thanks for sharing, I'm sure your story will inspire many. It has me and will share this with my wife and friends!

Love this!

I don't want another app! I wish he would spend some $$ and fix this one! He supposedly has thousands of paying members in his inner circle, why would he make a new app?
-
Well said! I've leaned allot here, made allot of friends that share the same goal as my wife and I. We are eating tons better than we used to, cut out all the crap- (for the most part) but enjoy our life journey and seeing our results on the scale and in the mirror!

Have you looked into StrongLifts 5x5 program?

Welcome to MFP -I'll add pretty much anyone, however I'm not a great coach but will respond to all messages and will send messages - especially if you haven't logged in for a few days. With that said - I delete people who haven't logged for 30 days. Cool? Feel free to add me!

I was at my community center gym and was waiting for the squat rack (normally empty). The guy that was attempting about 2x what i do on squats made small talk. I had mentioned I was doing stronglifts, and looks and said it must be working! It's cool to get complements from people who never seen you before!

You've done very well, it seems to easier to gain momentum when you see such good results!
-
I know how important having friends for support/ motivation is, but I'll delete you after 30 days of not logging in. Don't worry - Ill be sending messages long before that ! Anyone can send request if they agree to the above.

Meh - time to brush up on your sarcasm. If its family or friends smile when you use it.

Pull ups are bada$$ - I was determind to get good at them sfarting last June, I have a square track for a rolling gate at work, and dicided to do pull up every time I walked under it 5 a 10 times a day ( when nobody was looking) . I was doing about 15- 30 pull-ups a day. My next goal is to do a muscle up. Sounds like you…

Are you using the app for stronglifts?
-
You'll add weight each time do the exercise, so on your B workout you'll be adding to youe squats.
-
Thanks, that really helps allot.

What would be a recovery issue - soreness I'm guessing? Sorry for such a n00b question..... Just making sure I have it right.

Thanks for the replies, the class I take starts with warm up stuff that is slow movements/stretches. With a few jumping jacks. Then we do some light sprints to warm up She sets the class up with 8 stations and demonstrates them 3 - abs, jump rope, step blocks, medicine ball toss/squat, dumbbell curls- we do one minute each…

This is the place it all happens! You'll lean allot on these forums (I'm still learning.....) :-)

Nice job! I hope the Stronglifts work this good for me since I just started it!
-
Any guys have some before after pictures using the stronglifts?

I eat oatmeal- Bob's Red Mill. It's a whole grain and Gluten free rolled oats. I throw in a hand full of walnuts and good to go, I also use a bit of unsweetened Almond milk to make it creamy. It's a complex carb so it's better for you.

Check with your community centers, our's is brand new with a huge gym with everything one needs and it's very inexpensive (even free for some)
