I honestly don't know much about the whole protein supplement thing. I was just wondering whether it would help. By everything that I've heard now I should be looking for natural alternatives! Thankyou for your help!!

Okay, maybe I just want to stay the same muscle wise but lose the fat to reveal them! At home I find it very hard to get protein because I stick to a veggie/ almost vegan diet because of my parents. But at uni I eat fish and chicken. I am finding it hard to add more protein to my diet without adding lots of fats (although…

Thankyou! I haven't really thought about using plant based things. As a student I've just tried to find the least time consuming and cheap option. My flatmate swears by diet whey, and her body is amazing. I've never heard of pea protein before! I'll check that out. Thanks.

Thanks haha! I'm finding it hard to get protein into my diet because I'm veggie, but I'll try! Thank you for your help :)

Okay, I'll try that out, thanks. Should I cut down carbs and eat more protein or?

I do super sets? So I use 2 different machines, alternating between the 2 doing between 8-12 reps 3 times on each. I do 8 exercises in total per session. I just felt like I was building muscle and not losing any body fat.

It depends. I don't do much free weigh training for my arms. But on machines anything between 35-55kgs. For my legs I do lunges, squats and then other machines in the gym. I've had sessions written up for me by the personal trainer in my gym but I've been told the information I've recieved is wrong! So I just don't know…

Although 165lbs at 5"4 seems a lotttt, to look at me, you wouldn't think I was that overweight. I've played hockey and netball since I was 12 and I used to do a lot of weigh training in the gym for a long period of time so my legs and arms are quite muscular. I just seem to store fat on my stomach and hips. I've measured…

Thanks everyone. This has REALLY helped. Im going to increase my calories to around 1700-2000 depending on the intensity of the workout i do, and then see if im getting results from there. Its just hard to get your head around eating more to lose weight!

Hi guys! Im really sorry, and want to apologise for my post! This is what I have been lead to believe, after seeing all your shocked comments and making a post of my own for help, I have done research into BMR and calorie deficit and I've educated myself about it. So thankyou! If you all hadn't have told me I was wrong I…

Thanks guys!

I NEVER eat my calories back, this is only because I want to lose weight fast. If you want to lose weight your calorie intake should be a minus number. You need to subtract your BMR from your calorie intake per day. This is your Basal Metabolic Rate. This is the amount of calories you burn in a day doing nothing at all.…

Just wanted to say, if you want to do the 30DS then the 3 levels are posted on youtube so you don't have to spend your money on the fitness DVD. You can spend it all on yourself when you're looking fab once you've completed it!

Sorry, me again! You can't spot reduce. You have to do cardio eg. Running, walking, cycling, swimming etc to reduce overall body fat and then do weights to build the muscle toning that area. Hope that helps! X

Hahaha! It's the eating healthy I find a problem!
