Are you taking account of your exercise calories? Just last week I posted a similar post, as I am a very active person but never lost any weight - and the thoughts were that I wasn't eating enough! My body had shut down and was holding onto everything I fed it - SO I have now manually adjusted my calories to 2000 per day…

Wow, thanks Psulemon - that's great information! And interesting - am at the end of my tether with it all and so am willing to try anything! A whole 1000 calories more than i'm eating now - it will be a struggle at first but I shall have a go! I tend to have 1 or 2 rest days a week where I don't do much exercise if any.…

What do people think - Should I up my everyday calorie allowance - even on those days when I don't exercise, or just make a more determined effort to eat extra on those days I do exercise?

I have a BMI of 30! :sad: I am classed as Obese - i'm sure if you saw me you wouldn't think that, but thats what it says. thanks Morgan - I shall have a read. I do try to eat alot of my exercise calories, just not the full amount in case they are extra generous on the database - maybe I didn't work as hard as they expected me to! :)

Hi, I am, but this is the last month. The nurse suggested trying something else. The Drs is my next point of call. Friends say that I should be a size zero the amount of exercise I do - I just don;t stop :cry:

I never go massively over the calories the day following exercise, but its a shocker when you press the complete entry button and it reckons you should have gained 5 - 10lb that day! So pleased to hear its not just me! yes I am fair skinned also and sounds like it just comes with the territory!! To stop my sugar cravings, I drink diet coke, or Pepsi Max. Know their full of other 'not-so-good' for you things - but it stops me reaching for the chocolate or biscuits!!
