best way to counter sugar binge?

I hear alot about drinking water to flush excess sodium,but what if anything can you do to counter excess sugar?

    As far as I'm aware nothing! Just try to eat less sugar :) It's hard at first if you are used to having a lot of sugar, sugary drinks etc but if you cut down gradually, you will get there over time without cravings. If your sugar is from fruit I wouldn't worry about it too much, but any other sugars are not good.

    i am a sugar "junkie" :smooched: i have been trying the sugarless gum and that has been helping. i like the desserts gum and its only 5 calories a stick.....:bigsmile:
  • To stop my sugar cravings, I drink diet coke, or Pepsi Max. Know their full of other 'not-so-good' for you things - but it stops me reaching for the chocolate or biscuits!!
  • In order to stop the sugar cravings, you have to stop eating sugar. All it does is make you crave more. That's it's sole purpose.
