Thanks everyone! I love the insight on Sunday! Today being Sunday I must admit I just kept doing what I have been doing all week. Being 100% committed to staying in my calories. And it hasn't been difficult or restricting. Eating the food I enjoy and doing so with a higher level of consciousness. Its been awesome!!!

I agree. Going to the doctor would probably be best. You are doing exactly what you should be doing to lose weight. Especially after gaining so much in a month! Don't get discouraged! You can get this all straightened out!

I agree with the youtube idea! Check out walmart for some cheap workout DVDs or even the library. I personally am a HUGE Chalene Johnson fan. I am currently just finishing week 6 of ChaLEAN Extreme and after I complete it will be doing Turbo Fire. I love the workouts because they are changing constantly so I never ever get…

Wow! I love the change to charity idea!! I am planning to do something similar with the daily readings. I am devoting 15-30 min each day to read my Bible, pray and just have some quiet time. Disconnect from everything else! Not sure about the meat thing. Maybe next year for that!! I hope it goes well! Would love to add you…

I feel like I need some motivation/advice too! Come on people, help!!! We need ADVICE!

I agree that you need to eat more. More protein rich foods and lots of veggies. Have a healthy snack or two during the day to incorporate more veggies and protein into your diet.

You look great!! What an accomplishment!! Keep up the great work!!

Hi Brandi, When you are entering your food the database shows what one serving is. If you have more or less than one serving then all you have to do is change the quantity option (should be right beside the serving amt). In order to really keep track of how many calories you are eating I would suggest using measuring cups…

The packaging can be deceiving! Good for you for checking and not being tricked into something that is supposedly healthy and natural!!

You are doing so great! 20 lbs is amazing!! As a society I believe we are too fixated on the number on the scale. It isn't always a good indication of the changes our bodies are going through on this weightloss journey. Have you been taking measurements of your bust, waist, and hips? These will tell you what is happening.…

I don't have a menu planned out either. What I do is in the morning I make myself one of about 3 different breakfasts. I know how much and roughly how many calories are in each. It gives me variety which is something I need to not get bored. And then I log it. I then know about how many calories I have left for each meal.…

Awesome explanation. Thanks!

That is wonderful! You have to believe in yourself 100% to make a healthy lifestyle change happen. Way to go for making the decision to be responsible for your weight loss journey!!! Keep up the awesome work. Also something I do when I know I will be eating out is that I will go online and look at the menu ahead of time to…

I don't eat dairy products either. I am from Canada and there are lotsof soy products here. I put vanilla soy milk in my cereal (Almond milk is also yummy) and there are soy cheeses out there too. I find it easier to not have any cheese replacements as it tempts me to want to have the real stuff. If you are at a meal that…

I am 5'9" and with a medium to large build too. My lowest weight was 159lbs. I felt fantastic. Anywhere from 155-165 is my goal weight. Definitely my healthy happy weight. And it is not too hard to maintain...except when you get pregnant :-) Goodluck!!!

I agree with you Gillian! By next summer I want to be rockin' the beach with a sexy swimsuit! Whether it is a one piece or two, I want to feel great about my body!! My goal for the next 7 days is to do my biggest loser workout 2 times and take 2 walks with my daughter!

I have cravings too! But I will only let myself have one small treat a day. If you love peanut butter, portion it! I love having a tbsp of pb in the mornings on my piece of toast! Or try eating an apple and dipping it in a tbsp or two of peanut butter. Living a healthy lifestyle can't be about total restriction from the…
