Thanks for that so far, however, I should have also mentioned I live in a rural/remote community so access to a gym isn't possible.

Yea still alive..... *just* things aren't going to plan... had a fall at work still dealing with the concussion fall out a week later. Sorry......

I'm still around, but insanely busy with work... I swear I do an average of 12+ hours a day 5 days a week then another 6-8 sat and sun :( Seriously what teacher works that much?? Hang I know one who cares! And one who has winning debating teams ;)

hehe voice finally returned. It comes and goes in huskiness.... now it's Easter break and I'm enjoying family time. Work will be interesting when the break is over, it was one hell of a term last term.

I'm still here and alive. Pretty much voiceless but alive. Struggling with the idea of going back to work tomorrow after taking Friday off. Will be playing hide and seek from the Dr for a while. He put me on complete vocal rest until my voice returned to normal - it hasn't and I am going back to work. He freaked me a…

Ok ladies, I just tried something weird... I shoved it under the underwire in my bra and it's back working.... try tightening the strap to UNCOMFORTABLE, spit on it and lodge it there!

Not an easy thing when you live in remote places and have to rely on posting it to the other end of the country.

SNAP!! I got mine yesterday, put it on about 2 hours ago while doig housework. It's stopped after 1 hour 26 min

ebay has the Polar FT4 for about 70 Au dollars on ebay from the UK. Might be worth a look. This one you can wear swimming as well, I know you like to swim. I ordered one last week and it arrived today in the post (through an Au supplier). It had good recommendations from friends who use it.

Message me and i am more than happy to help (high school teacher here)

It's all about my best friend. He's my soul mate although we'd never marry each other and consequently we've married others. But we still can finish each others thoughts etc. Also he did his weight journey in 2011/2012 and it's a bit of a tribute to him ;)

I am still sitting here laughing my head off!!! This is CLASSIC!!
-
OK lots of these made me laugh, but this one made me laugh out loud!!!!! I can't imagine anyone standing in Boots stripping. The UK is sooooooooooooooooo conservative!!!!! Personally, I don't do anything. I weigh what I weigh, I can't change that, I've proved it in the past by weighing myself pre and post bowel motion in…

Have you thought about things like possibly walking the kids to school? Not sure if this is an option where you live. Or when you go to work - park a reasonable distance away so you fit in some walking then? Or taking a walk during lunch? There are lots of ways to fit in incidental exercise. Another good one is whilst you…

Have you measured? Also if you open your diary, it gives others a chance to see what you are eating and help/offer advice.
-
Mate, I am going to tell you straight up. So you now have the option to not read. Before anyone slams me for posting this: read the statement above, you don't have to read this. I am a serial NON eater by habit. I am a teacher who also find school food undesirable, so I pack mine. I also found it very very hard to find…

I just had a quick look at your diary.... one word SODIUM!!! You are eating a LOT of processed foods with high sodium. To counteract this you need to drink LOTS and LOTS of water to flush it. Maybe try cutting that down for a start?? I know it's not easy to change your eating habits over night, trust me I know this, but…

I'd still suggest that you pack your food from home if you want to avoid the dining hall at school.
-
Umm how old are you and are you doing this with your Dr???????? Skipping lunch out and having take away is not the best idea. I am sure your school food would be along the same lines as takeaway, if not possibly better esp if you have fruit, salad and vege options.

mmmm you need to watch Myth Busters. We recently had an episode on tv in Australia (so probably a good 2 years old) that busted that myth. Cola does not degrease a car engine any more than water did! And it's had little or no effect on paint. Go look up the Myth Busters on this one! Edit: to save you time here's the link.…

Well done. It's all personal anyway. No 2 people react the same way to anything! Do what is right for you and remember moderation is the key to everything

Of course you're not losing anything, you body is in starvation mode!
-
It's perfectly normal for your weight to go up during your period. I can go up 1.5 - 2 Kg. Weigh yourself when you like, record it and then you know that it is just part of your cycle. I know 2 days (sometimes even a day) after my period I have up to a 2 kg loss. as for pulling it out and burning it - I'm all for that, but…

This might sound stupid, but thongs/g-strings, I love them but refuse to wear them. I want to wear them again. I would also LOVE a tummy tuck. After 3 kids I have that nasty nasty nasty pouch!

More than happy to have you add me

Second week of December Edit, it even has the date on it!
-
Calorie cycling? I have been trying to mix up the exercise, have added in cycling and weights in the last week to walking and swimming.
-
Yup sure that works, if you don't have 3 children you need to take care of, one of which has been sick the last few days. And you're blessed to have never hit one.
-
My weight hasn't altered very much over the last 5 weeks... been up and down slightly

Sorry thought it was open, it was set to friends, it is now open
