Polar. I like that it shows duration of exercise, time in zone (you set your own zone), calories burned, and min/max heart rate. Has a band to go around your chest, which I wasn't sure about at first. The band is really comfortable and no big deal at all. I forget I have it on even after exercising.

I have a Tanita scale the measures weight, % body fat and % hydration. The more I work out, the % body fat may show the change, but the weight may not move. I generally take my hints from the scale for how much water to drink. It's fairly consistent in the measurements. Hope this helps.

Well said. I find the reach for "energy" happens around 3:00 p.m. I've begun a stronger vitamin and mineral regimen to hopefully offset the energy drag. I LOVE the Inside Out Weighloss podcasts.
