Hi! I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2012, we'd tried for a baby for several years with no success and the doctors had told me that it was highly unlikely I'd have another child (my only other child was 18 at the time) due to my age, weight and PCOS. Fast forward a year and I'd lost almost 80lbs and became pregnant without…

I've not heard that before, but I fell pregnant (now 22 weeks) whilst losing weight, odds against me due to age & PCOS - I'd been obese for many years and this was the first time I'd got anywhere near a healthy weight.

I didn't mind one way or the other. I already have a beautiful 19 year old girl, who was never particularly girly ( just as well, I don't like girly things either)..I didn't find out her sex until she was born but I was absolutely positive I was having a blonde haired boy and lo and behold she was a dark haired girl. This…

18 weeks with baby #2..my baby #1 will be almost 20 years old when this one arrives.

I'm not a great fan of pink either, well baby pink more specifically, or pastels. I prefer really bright colours for baby clothes..if ours is a girl and I prefer the baby 'boy clothes' then that's what I'll buy. Baby won't care either way.

Yup, EDD of April 15th here..almost 20 years after my daughter was born. I must be bonkers.

Gah! Just when I finally went & bought some new scales...now what will I use as an excuse to go & accidentally on purpose buy some ( a LOT) of their delish Stollen?

Wow, what an achievement! You look fantastic..well done you!!

I don't struggle with weekends that often, but when I do have a few days where I know I probably won't be able to stick within my targets (we've had lots of days/nights out and birthday celebrations lately) then I would usually just adjust a few days cals/macros either side accordingly, but I have a horror of losing…

Wow!! I would love a body like yours (not going to happen of course :P) ..you look absolutely amazing, well done!!

Gorgeous!! Brilliant job..well done!!

I'm not at goal just yet but I'm not too far off. I aim for 1400 daily, on my dieticians advice, but I'm usually a little under that (I do mean a little)..I've been at it for 8 months so far and though fairly slow found it easy and enjoyable even. I too would love to hear what people are eating at maintenance.

This is just amazing! So inspiring.

Nope. My girls have gone from a DD to a D cup during my weight loss and are looking extremely sorry for themselves but they did a good job of nourishing my baby and they still entertain my fella plus he's already stated that he'd be horrified if I got implants. So no, it's not for me. Now a tummy tuck on the other hand...…

This. Absolutely. Though the illustration did make me chuckle

I was diagnosed with PCOS 8 months ago when I was 5st heavier. Prior to that I'd spent about 12 years on the 'tomorrow diet', eating to excess today as my new healthy lifestyle starts tomorrow. I'm vegan so was conscious of my diet anyway but that didn't stop me hitting the morbidly obese category. I'm PCOS med free and…

An elephant's penis and a human brain..it's been a bad food day!

I managed to hit morbid obesity whilst being vegan (go me!)..I'm still vegan but now 'merely' overweight, hoping I'll get to a normal weight this year. I still miss cheese but luckily we have a fantabulous local pizza place who make the best vegan pizza ever!

I'm vegan (since '09..lifelong veggie until that point) and was diagnosed with PCOS in August last year, when I was almost 60lbs heavier. The only carb I've really had to cut right back on is white bread, which was my absolute downfall - I could eat mountains of the stuff, especially toasted. I tend to avoid white pasta…

Wow! Abso-bloomin'-lutely amazing! Well done you, you look fab!!

Hahah..that's tickled me

I'm another for the anti-spider brigade..even the tiniest spider will send me shrieking/crying/wailing to my other half to remove the offending monster RIGHT EFFIN' NOW! I don't mind tarantulas too much though, they're almost cute(?) - not quite but almost...

I have a thyroid problem..and PCOS too. With the right meds for your thyroid issue weight loss should be totally doable. I won't let it stop me :) Good luck!

I made these yesterday, with a little cumin..they're a bit on the small side but really yummy. Will certainly be making them again. Thanks for posting! :)

Ugh..I hate Lydia too. My Orcette decapitated her, popped the head in a fruit bowl and slung her body into the firepit. Good times.

My better half would most likely be interested! He's currently DM'ing a tabletop Pathfinder game in a homebrew setting. I'm sure he'd love to give online DnD a shot. Only possible problem is that we're UK based.. He has a profile on here so I'll point him in your direction anyway
