Yes, because I have other health concerns where a keto diet is helpful. For general weight loss...sure, if you like it, but it's not the only/best way to do it.

I don't take specific "cheat days" but occasionally yeah I have a crappy meal, or know I'm going to be out and enjoying myself. I log what I can those days, but I'm not going to sit and stress over a restaurant meal if I can't figure it out. It's one day, and I get back on track the next day.

I was in a bad car accident a year ago, which halted all exercise. Got depressed and inactive...finally changing things for the better. While I didn’t gain TOO much weight, I am so very out of shape now.

Meat, fish, eggs. I LOVE pork rinds.
-
Freed tenderloin and a harvest pumpkin salad....my dinner tonight and it's about 350ish
-
I don't have a lot of them, but often do pork rinds instead of chips. Satisfyingly crunchy, no carb and high protein!
-
I had gastric bypass a year and a half ago...feel free to add me!
-
Daily, but I record an official weight once per week. BUT is information doesn't freak me out or make me anxious if it fluctuates...that's the key.
-
It's normal...I had to do severely low carb for two weeks for a medical reason and I felt awful for the first couple days. I found drinking lots of broth helped. Salt and magnesium will be your friend.
-
That's a choice you have to make...BUT as adorned vegetarian myself I can say that jumping from no meat to a steak sub night give you some intestinal distress to put it mildly.
-
I weigh daily but I log it here once a week.
-
Definitely not a "quick fix." I had gastric bypass on March 19th.

Love love love them! PiYo and Insanity are my favorites, although I just started Combat. I am a beachbody coach, so I'm trying to make my way through them all!
-
Heart rate monitor.
-
If itfits, go ahead. I just personally choose not to...it kinda grosses me out.
-
It's a bit too high in sugar for my liking, so I get the reduced sugar variety. Really though, I don't think it makes a huge difference with how little one normally uses.
-
Nobody says anything...and I'd probably freak out if they did. Leave me and my food choices alone.
-
Ugh there has to be more than just garlic in that. And I think your mouth/dining partner would hate you if you ate that much garlic at a restaurant.
-
I just got the program, but haven't started yet!
-
Genepro. Completely flavorless! Also, if you have a Vitamin Shoppe around you, they have sample sizes of almost everything there. Get a bunch of single servings and see what you like.
-
Squats all day, erryday!
-
Genepro. 98 cals, 30g protein. A lot of whey hurts my stomach and this seems to work.
-
Multi, b12 and calcium as reccomended by my doc. If all goes well at my next blood test, I'll be off the b12.
-
I use a heart rate monitor for this reason. I find mfp grossly overestimated exercise calories.
-
This is something to discuss with your doctor. Everyone is different! I had RNY gastric bypass in March and I'm down about 60.
-
Every morning....but it doesn't mess with my head if the number fluctuates. It keeps me on track.
-
Running outside, treadmill if I HAVE to....stepper bores me to tears in about 2 minutes.
-
Maybe 5 mins if I hit every light? I'm lucky in that a beautiful new gym with fantastic equipment recently opened right down the road!
-
I weigh to help myself learn proper portion sizes. I never had an issue with eating healthy, just with eating too much. Weighing helps to keep me on track and not overindulge even if it's a healthy food.

I like Optimum Amino Energy. I workout at 430 am and seriously can't drag myself out of bed more than 10 minutes before I have to leave my house. I work until 1030 pm so I'm just TIRED. It does the trick.
