Gosh I feel for you. Most people are on a mission to go the other way. You don't mention exercise. Are you able to build your body up through increasing muscle ? Lifting weights, yoga, swimming???? Not sure that giving up is an option but maybe changing the method of weight gain. Forgive me if I'm missing my manners, I'm…

Before you know it you'll be putting in sets of 20 :)

Yes, weekends are the hardest part of the week. Sometimes I go to the other extreme and fast on one of the days. Keeping busy is the key

Whoop Whoop Way to go :)

Glad others find the same, thought maybe it was just me being greedy.

Hey get over it and get yourself back on the wagon. Look up and smile, you're alive and able to make choices. Make today/tomorrow a new start. Hopefully you'll last longer until the next urge and you can be prepared with some healthier options to binge on. (I just had a 2 day binge eating dates and nuts and felt really…

Not sure. Maybe you should cross reference it as it does sound quite a lot. Are you getting out of breath whilst you're swimming? and what stroke are you doing? 45 minutes of butterfly would be loads more calories than breaststroke. Either way, good for you, stick with it and honestly other people are far to busy getting…

I'm going steer clear of the scales for a while If the number goes up - get disheartened, think what's the point, go and eat - If it stays the same - no point in depriving myself when it's making no difference, go and eat - If it goes down - think that I'm doing so well I can ease off, go and eat.

7C here in UK. Been quite sunny today, but feels a bit chilly in the wind. Nothing compared to what some of you are experiencing. Not sure I could cope with it being that cold brrr

Does logging the food before you eat it work? I've also got problems of running off the rails and eating for no particular reason other than it being there. I will try this technique, bit late for today as I've already had my binge but will try it tomorrow.

amazes me that people still smoke, surely everybody knows how bad it is for you. Don't you also think it's a bit old fashioned? Also what's the point in running to get fit and healthy whilst you're still a smoker, defies logic. As for choosing the machine right next to you when there is plenty of others, maybe you looked…

I couldn't quite follow your skipping explanation, but I have to go to the loo before I get on the trampoline with the kids or sometimes it's a little bit to late.

Hey can I join? Promised myself to put in some time on the bike, usually run as it's easier, just put on trainers and go. But using the bike I'm faced with hills which ever direction I head in, which can put me off. More the coming down than the going up as I had a scare last year I thought I was going to crash, which…

I'm starting properly tomorrow, but have managed to go out for a bike ride today and have so far kept away from Christmas treats. Good luck to us all

I'm on week 3 of the diet, and it's going quite well. I fast Friday and Saturday so I can enjoy at least one day of eating with my family. I'm trying to use fast days as a detox as well so I aim to eat mainly raw fruit and vegetables. Generally miss breakfast then have some salad fairly plain (lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes…
