HOLY MOLY - no wonder you're starving. 1100 calories is not enough for your height & weight. Your body is probably in starvation mode. Shoot for 1400 calories next week and see if you drop 2-3 lbs. immediately. I found that I have to "trick" my body from time to time by adding or taking away calories every once in a while.…

I use 1 tsp. of extra virgin coconut oil when cooking my tilapia & a few other proteins. Coconut oil has many health benefits. http://authoritynutrition.com/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-coconut-oil/. Yes, it is good to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning - it revs up your metabolism to get you…

KUDOS to you! Keep up the good work! :flowerforyou:

I do not measure calories when weight lifting. Only with my cardio. The weight lifting is a bonus for me.

I have this problem as well. I plan to go this weekend to get a new pair of jeans, coat, & dress pants. Mine are entirely too big. Tighter clothes will help me keep losing the weight too! =)

I try to eat every 3 1/2 hours. My morning snack (around 10:30 AM) consists of a small banana, 10 almonds, & a protein shake.

SO glad to see this! I have been bruising on my legs and had no idea why. I did up my cardio BIG time. Running on the elliptical for 35 minutes and then doing 30 minutes on the bicycle. Changed my cardio to HIIT. LOVE IT! Glad to know others are bruising as well.

I used my fitbit in the beginning to count my steps, etc. After a month of using it, I knew EXACTLY what to do and really did not need my fitbit any longer. I log everything into MFP which has helped me tremendously!! =)

5' 6" - 150 is small for me. I don't have a goal weight. Just want to look good in my clothes!

I have bad knees (ACL tear on one & ACL/MCL tear on the other) from sports therefore, the treadmill & running are out of the question for me. I begin on the elliptical (HIIT) high intensity, then lower it, then I practically run on the elliptical always having a slow start & slow ending. Then comes the weights, finished…

In a rush - protein shake with almonds OR Greek yogurt with almonds. Have time? 3 egg whites & 1/2 cup steel oats will keep you full for a long time. Mid morning snack: 1 piece of fruit, protein shake, almonds. *Eat small meals more often = stay full longer & do not eat as much.

Foods I EAT regularly - Egg whites, Almonds (no salt), tilapia, chicken, greens.

I am happy with losing the 20 lbs. as I feel & look good BUT, I would feel & look even better to lose more. Not really looking at a number but a size of clothes that is reasonable. My biggest problem is that I'm too wishy washy. All or nothing with me and that is bad. I need to maintain and keep at it ALWAYS but seem to go…

^^ That answers it for me. I am probably too content & not dedicated enough to continue the weight loss.

I have the Fitbit One & the Aria scale & love them both! The fitbit one got me started to know what I need to do, how much I was walking, etc. In the end, I no longer use the one since I know what I am doing now but the Aria scale, I will use forever. I love the wireless part. Step on the scale & it goes straight to…

I just purchased the Nutri Bullet last week. I have juiced/smoothie for 4 days and have lost 5 lbs.!!! I mainly blend veggies, greens, ginger, blueberries & pears. I do drink most of the pulp as well. Only juiced once a day and as a meal replacement. First few days I did not feel well but read that is the toxins in my body…

Add more calories to each meal or eat more often. Drink a protein shake (I drink forza pro mint chocolate with water which is yummy! You could add peanut butter, milk, nuts, fruits for more calories). I would not give up exercising - just add more healthy calories to your meal - eggs, oats, avocados, protein shakes, etc.

NO PIC = no impression. :ohwell:

If I were you, I would measure everywhere. You are probably swapping muscle for fat. Your clothes should fit differently as well. I bet your post was a typo - work out 4 x a day in lieu of a week. How much water do you drink daily? I shoot for a gallon of water a day but at least get in 8 glasses daily. Lots of luck!!! :-)

If you want a low cal breakfast & something that will keep you full for a LONG time... Egg whites (I buy the carton), steel cut oats - sweeten with sugar free jelly or local honey. If I am in a rush, I will grab a Greek yogurt or protein shake (powder & water). *If you get tired of the egg whites, add some veggies to it.…

I eat a half of a cup of cooked steel cut oats every morning - add one tsp. of either sugar free jelly or local honey for sweetness. :-)
