How do you continue to lose weight?
I need to lose at least 40 lbs. My problem EVERY TIME is that I will lose 20 lbs. or so, really begin to look & feel good, and then STOP losing the weight. Of course, then I gain some back. How do I break the cycle and continue to lose after the 20 lbs.? How do you do it? Thanks so much for any help! :flowerforyou:

Don't talk or text at the gym on the equipment!!!!
Anyone else agree? DRIVES ME CRAZY to see people sitting & chatting away WHILE they are on the piece of equipment that I need. UGH!!! When I step in the gym, I am in workout mode. Ear buds go in, music goes up, and I'm ready to get 'er done! WORK OUT or GET OUT people! ~:-P

Do you weigh yourself every day or once a week?
I realize that the scale is probably only accurate once a week but weighing in daily keeps me on track. I purchased a wi-fi fitbit ONE and the Aria wi-fi scale which syncs with my iPhone fitbit app and My Fitness Pal account. This means that every time I weigh myself, it syncs to both accounts & shows all of my friends if…

Which stationary cardio equipment do you prefer & why?
Bicycle, Treadmill, or Elliptical - which do you prefer, how long do you use it, and have you seen great results? *I switch up and find that the elliptical is the hardest of the three. It seems to be the closest thing to running (since I cannot run) & protecting my knees. :-)

Why do I feel FAT some days and smaller other days?!
Put on a freshly washed pair of khakis this morning and felt like I had to squeeze in them & then had a HUGE muffin top! Grrrr I HATE that feeling! Washed jeans/khakis do not always make me feel like that. I have lost 8 lbs. in the last two weeks & they should feel good or a little lose after washing them. YUCK - I feel SO…

WATER CHALLENGE!!
No matter which day you read this - the challenge is to drink a gallon of water (128 oz. or 16 cups) in one day! This CAN be done - spread it out and you will not be waterlogged. ~:-D *I drink a gallon of water a day & can tell a HUGE difference when I do not get my H2O in. If this is not your cup of water, no need to…

Starting over is better than giving up completely!
Yes, it would be good to always eat healthy & exercise daily but this is the real world where life happens and not all things are going to go the way they should. So I am here to say - if you fall off (which you will), get back on and start again!!! I lost 25 lbs. & was doing great, life happened and 24 lbs. came back on.…

AGH! Ruining my day be eating at night - HELP!!!
Good grief! My daytime eating, water intake & workout are GREAT however, I continue to eat whatever I want at night because I am HUNGRY (especially after my workout). My downtime is at night to watch my DVR'd shows...real housewives of, walking dead, duck dynasty, etc. I need to get out of the habit of snacking at night &…

ONE machine is enough for Cardio!
No - I am no expert but I have learned that getting on ONE machine and exercising 30 - 45 minutes on that machine beats skipping around from elliptical to treadmill to bicycle, etc. TOO many people are confused about which to do, how much to do, should you switch, etc. So I say, find ONE of the above and do it as long as…

My 10 steps to getting it done!!!
Back on track & taking names!!! 1) I try to get a gallon of water in each day (I quit carbonated drinks 8 months ago) 2) Prepare my meal at night for the next day (preparation is key to weight loss) 3) Count EVERY thing that goes in my mouth (keep up with calories - more protein / less carbs) 4) Eat small portions of…
