I had a similar problem (or thought I did). I cooked whatever healthy food I wanted, wouldn't tell him what it was, and he ate it without question. Then later on I'd say "did you know that meal was vegan?" or "could you taste the (insert supposedly hated veggie here)?" He was always shocked and now he'll eat things he…

Hey there! I feel your pain. I am 4' 11" and at my heaviest I was 212. Cardio is something you can build over time. It won't come all at once, especially if you have never exercised regularly before. What I find is the first few minutes are the hardest as my heart rate is increasing, then it gets easier. As previous…

Hey! Another C25K-er! I'm a little ahead of you and I'm on W3D2. I'll send you a friend request!!
-
WOW! These are all great! You all look so good! It keeps me inspired when I see other people lose the weight!
-
This is true, but tell that to my primary care MD. It's all about the numbers to her.
-
Keep going! It'll be so worth it! And you won't look good in just your wedding dress, but everything else too! I'm getting married in October this year! Add me!
-
Waste of money. Did nothing for me except make me nauseous.
-
Hi there OP! I'm also getting married next October. I'm in the same exact boat as you, I lost 25lbs over the course of a year 2012-2013, but I haven't lost anything more over the past year 2013-2014. I really want to get down another 20lbs before the big day. It's hard considering all the wedding planning makes me want to…

4'11" currently 188. I've lost ~20lbs and would like to lose another 30.

Wow! Thanks for all the tips everyone. I think I should get fitted for a pair of proper running shoes. My current sneakers are less than a year old, and were about $100, but I've had several injuries to my right ankle as well, so maybe there is something wrong with my gait as well.
-
Feel free to add me too! 25 and just recently engaged!
-
That is really great and truly inspiring. You are proof that slow and steady really does win the race and that we can't expect the weight to come off all at once.
-
Great job!
-
I'm 4' 11". My highest weight was 210lbs, goal weight is 135lbs. But I suppose that can change once I know what I look like when I start to really lose. Currently 188lbs, so I've lost about 20lbs.

You look amazing! What great progress! Nice tattoo, btw.

Excellent work! You look great and I'm sure you feel even better!

BUMP! This is a great idea! I'd love to find my doppleganger too! I might be tough though... 4' 11" - 190lbs
-
This is a great tool! Can't believe I haven't used it before! Thanks everyone!

Great progress

Hey girlie, I sent you a friend request. I am 25, and like you, I have been overweight my whole life. I have also suffered a lot of the same comments you get... people criticizing your weight but at the same time not helping you or motivating you to do so. I think its a great thing that you're doing. Trust me, it has not…
-
Bump, this is a great question I have wondered about as well
-
I am 4' 11", which means a "healthy" weight for me means not weighing over 120lbs. I am starting at 210lbs, currently 192lbs. My goal weight is 130lbs, which is still technically overweight according to the BMI chart, but its still a 70lb weight loss. Its been slow progress.
-
You are an inspiration! You look great, and I am sure you feel even better!

Thanks for the support everybody. Means a lot that you are all so sincere when I feel like I'm just complaining...
