You all are very helpful. Thanks for the motivation. Reading posts like these reassure me that I'm not alone in this and I'm not the first person who has struggled in losing.

Ohhh I have a good one! Ex #1: Chewing with mouth open, wanting to be a writer but he has never read a single book on his own and can't spell for crap, says "supposably" (THAT'S reason enough!), can't read an analog clock, being a terrible driver and making mommy pay for the 3 cars he's wrecked, and whining... always…

Hi meaghan, this is also meghan :) I gained all my weight in college (graduated 2010), and let me tell you, it is soooo much easier getting on track when you're not surrounded by crappy cafeteria food, loads of alcohol (that has calories too!) and late-night mcdonald's runs. Much of my eating schedule revolves around work,…

I have the Biggest Loset Cardio Max DVD. Basic level is 5 min warm up, 20 min workout, 5 min cool down. Levels 2 and 3 add an additional 10 mins workout each. I like it because it I exert myself enough, it's a good workout in a short period of time. I like it for the days I don't have alot of time (wait, that's everyday!)…

I'm 4' 11" and my heaviest was 210. The BMI chart says I'm too short ;)

A someone who has had a similar experience, I can understand your frustrations. I was diagnosed with depression in my teens, and it's a daily struggle. I have had several of those days where I went to food for comfort, and would immediately regret it. Pringles and Zebra Cakes were my therapists. I was my heaviest over this…

I only log water under water. Sodas, even diet sodas, have a ton of chemicals in them that I believe take away any benefit it might otherwise have if I lumped it into 'water'. Juices, alcohol, etc all contain calories or vitamins that might contribute to my daily intake.

Thanks for the support. Its tough to forgive myself and let the past stay where it is... the past. I can't help but make comparisons to everyone in my life... especially if I'm surrounded by skinny people who might be apathetic to how I feel.
