1610 to lose 1800-2100 to maintain
-
Eat something that you like. Sometimes when we don't eat for long periods hunger signals get mixed up.
-
I weigh 30 pounds less than you and MFP gave me 1870 to lose a pound per week and I was maintaining. Try it out for about 3 weeks at 2000, and see what happens.

Height 5.5 1/2 Weight 215 Sizes 14-16 (I don't wear jeans with buttons though) top xl-1x (because I have a big chest)

I'm at 1610, though I don't like to add friends, you can have a look at my diary/ 35, 215 (down from 230 so far), lightly active (fitness youtube videos and recumbent bike)

Just a little over 1300 calories will give you a 2 pound a week loss. However I cannot eat less than 1400 without feeling it. (dizzy, tired etc) My intake is set at 1610 a day for 1.5 pound loss a week. 1 pound would be 1870 which I found hard to hit with healthy low calorie foods (too much) Why am I giving you this…

I started to notice how my clothes fit better first. I was bursting out of most of my pants at 230 but I was in denial and didn't want to go up to size 18. I am starting to notice more now and I've gone from 230 to 215 so far. It's been about 10 weeks.
-
I should give you a timeline, I've lost 15 pounds since October 2017. 10 pounds since I've started MFP which is on trend for 1 pound a week. You got this!

I'm having pizza tonight and I'm in a calorie deficit. Don't worry so much. One weekend isn't a big deal.

People say they could be 20% off, meaning some could be 20% less as well, I think it evens out. Trust the food labels. I don't have a food scale either and have lost 15 pounds so far. If you're losing consistently you don't need one.

Twice a week... usually Wednesday and Saturday in the morning before getting dressed, before food and after going to the bathroom

Zyprexa is the devil, I gained 40 pounds on it in 2 months 14 years ago. No one should take that drug, I'm surprised it's still prescribed. No experience with abilify but I decided not to take it due to problems other people have had with it. Currently on Seroquel 100mg and Loxapine 10 mg and have lost 14 pounds in 65 days,

You're not eating enough of something. Watch your macros.

So glad I didn't try Risperdal after reading this. It was one of my choices to try after my meds stopped working, I already had high prolactin too, not that high but still. Congratulations on your loss, hope it continues!

1. I had a plateau for a bit but I am now losing weight again without a food scale so I don't have one. 2. Weighing daily could make you crazy with all the fluctuations 3. So you will die if this site ceases to exist?!? Come on now, no one said I will stop right when I get to goal but I know how many calories I'm supposed…

I just found her workout videos the other day and asked the same question. I'm doing the 3 mile walk one. Haven't made it to 3 miles yet but I can do 2. She's fun and the workout is pretty hard. I started doing them because I don't want to go out to the gym right now when it's so cold.

This is why I don't have a food scale, it can get obsessive. I look at it like a game, weigh twice a week and take measurements. You don't have to do this for the rest of your life.
-
Yes, if I'm hungry.
-
I am having a rough eating day today too. But I realized I had over 1000 calories banked for the week and I am on a deficit of 698. That made me feel better. Tomorrow you can start over.

Wow, I started this at 230 and I'm the same height as you, weight loss surgery is the last thing on my mind. I'm 217 now, 63 days later.

Have a tablespoon or two of peanut butter.
-
You need to EAT to go. The last time I saw you ask a question you were eating 500 cals at most.
-
Alfredo on whole wheat pasta with tuna mixed in and a slice of garlic bread.
-
Lately - some vanilla yogurt with a few frozen cherries.
-
56g Oatmeal with a couple of teaspoons peanut butter

I looked for the same thing recently. If you're looking for an actual cookbook. James Barber, Cooking for Two or The Everything College Cookbook are the best bets. I could not find anything specifically for one person.

Thanks! @KellyPoetry Thanks @wefts

Thank you, I will not give up and I was not taking the medication consistently but I am on a very low dose. I will change that now. Realistically, I lost 11 pounds in less than 2 months and should be happy about that. @pjbitter
