I echo what everyone else said. I also suggest wearing a bracelet or a string around your wrist to remind you about your goals. I also occassionally put a NO sign right on my exit out of my cubicle. Here's what my front page says about me today: 1906 Calories Remaining Goal Food Exercise = Net 1200 0 - 706 -706 When I enter in my food for the day, its calculating for 1906 calories. That's a good method for people who can definitely keep themselves accountable. I would say that's what I would normally do, but my life has been hectic lately (which is another reason why I started working out in the morning) so that I can ensure that I work out and have no excuses later. OMG. Agreed!!! So many different ways to make them and they are inexpensive, healthy, and fast to make. And fun. You can also make roasted chickpeas (but watch the sodium and calories on these bad boys). Both are great to curb your craving. The chickpeas can be a great snack because of the protein value too.

(newbie here) - are you saying that if my calorie goal is 1800 calories per day, that I have to burn more than 1800 calories per day in order to loose weight? I guess I'm confused about this part. That would be like 3 hours of exercise a day for me ;)
