just started reading up on IF, I think the 16:8 is doable for me. I wouldn't mind participating in the challenge and be a motivator and a learner at the same time. I am interested...

We are all learning.;) . The best I can describe it is HIIT is a form of cardio that couples intervals of high-intensity exercise (such as sprinting) with intervals of either low-intensity exercise (such as walking at a slow pace) or complete rest.f you google the term it will provide a wealth of links and knowledge.

Great info fruttibiscott, I was under wrong impression, I thought it was how it equaled out the entire day- not each meal. When I cooked with coconut oil do I need to list that too? And about the employees, most roll up to thirteen branch managers. Still need working on the rest.

I have found Outback is very accommodating when I have to order. One waitress sat right beside me and just ask, "what can you eat and what do you want to eat". The chef created A wonderful enjoyable meal. I even received a visit from the kitchen to ensure that I would like how they were fixing my dish. The entire…

Your determination and success should be applauded..???? . Your are an inspiration too so many of us. I know there were days that you struggled, since normally the last few lbs love to stick around a bit longer. Curious, and may be too personal to address here in the forum.... your skin is very toned and glowing, how did…

This is some additional advice I received.. This may also be helpful to others... "The waking up at 3AM is a common sign of too few carbs. You might try the trick of a teaspoon of honey before bed, or eating some carbs before sleeping. Since you have Hashimotos, it's not a great idea to go very low carb for very long, if…

What a transformation. You need to know where to truly appreciate and be thankful for what you have accomplished. You set the goal to be healthy, and YOU DID IT. Very motivating for those who think this is just a quick fix. It is a life long dedication and commitment. You Do a Body Good. !!!!

I am dealing with hormonal issues, found I had too my estrogen. Dr. has restricted me from soy products: especially milk and whey. I have been drinking Rice and Almond instead. Both are yummy.

I had a complete hysterectomy last March- age 47. I also suffer from hypothryoidism. It has been an uphill battle, but just in January is when my hormones went wacky. I am taking estrogel and synthyroid and it seems that I am gaining a pound a week. I eat healthy (lean meats, fruits veggies) exercise 4-5 times a week, but…

I guess you want to surprise them on there next visit? That is fine, but dont worry to much about hiding your new healthy lifestyle. Embrace and you will find a way to make it through this visit. Both of the above are good suggestions. 1. Plan ahead if possible, 2. eat a salad before meal 3. eat half your plate, take the…

I have the Danskin Now 10lb Kettlebell . I am able to do all the exercise rather comfortable except the one arm swing, still a lttle wobbly, so I pick up my 5lb weight so I keep the momentum going. What a great burn feeling... I had to wait two days before I could do it again, now I work with them at least 3 times a week.…

Really surprised my state didn't make it to the top ten... Myrtle Beach, SC is known for the "all you can eat" buffets. Use to be there was a gas station at every corner, now it is a Buffet or Fast Food at every corner... :)

My hair was falling out due to stress from a surgery I had last March. It took about 6 mos before I noticed it stopping, i wish I could say it has grown back, but it hasn't as of yet. It has grown but no growth back to where it has fallen out. Then in December when I started here I noticed my hair breaking/falling again,…

Great suggestion. My hubby and I are both using MFP. I break everything down, but would love to have a way for him to copy a recipe or my diary, so he doesn't have to enter everything again. He is 50-50 in being accurate.
