Going low carb is the only way I can lose weight. After much research it is very healthy woe. It is not a diet, it is a lifestyle. I find it much simpler with less cravings than the "balance" woe.

I also have easter dinner coming up and on a 14 00 cal plan. My Dietitian suggests 1300 - 1700 for myself. My plan is to take my scales with me. Not so much to limit my intake but to track what I do have to record in MFP. The process of tracking your intake is the purpose. You are responsible to yourself. Use your better…

Don't take others too seriously. The "smart" people say to eat at least 1200 calories so you body doesn't think there is a food shortage causing your metabolism to slow down. The "smart" people also say to eat your calories but that does not work for me. Do what feels best for you, it is your body. Stay to the minimum and…

Don't beat yourself up, just record it as accurately as you can for the calories and learn from it. Often when one hiccups on the eating plan you get the "I've done it now, may as well do it up right" mentality. Just get back on the plan, don't beat yourself up, learn from it, and bloody well carry on. Hang in there.
