When my friends want to go to McDonalds I usually get a coffee and eat elsewhere. I don't know about the American menu but happy meals often include fruit bags and carrot sticks, maybe you could see if you can buy them separately

I've been having a lot of problems with binging lately and have reached out/researched in various forums. One thing I keep reading about is Overeaters Anonymous, a 12 step program like Alcoholics Anonymous for those with overeating/binging/food addiction issues. I haven't been yet (been busy) but it seems useful and I'm…

I am a complete carb fiend. I can't buy bread because I'll eat the whole loaf in two days if I allow myself to. That and the complete lack of control I have when I drink - I always end up down the chippy after a night out. Cheesy chips drowned in ketchup is my weakness.

I'm not sure if it's actually nice or if I'm just weird but I LOVE tomato purée on mine. I buy it in tube form and it keeps for ages in the fridge. It's about 15 calories a tablespoon.

Newbie runner here, definitely enjoying the improved sleep!

I've just recently started running and I'm home for Christmas. I wanted to run the other day but had forgotten to pack shorts so I asked my brother if he could lend me any. He said he'd have a look and found a pair from his old school PE kit, I tried them on but didn't look at the size until I took them off. I fitted into…

I'm at my goal weight but lost it all through pure diet. My goal now is working on my fitness, in terms of specifics I want to complete c25k and be able to run a mile without stopping. At the moment I can run about 0.4 miles before I have to walk.

I got a big bottle of Bailey's which I love but it's so caloric I can't have it often or in any kind of quantity so it's just going to go off. I'm just going to leave it in the fridge with a post it note telling my flatmates to have as much as they want.

I'm in maintenance and pigged out for three days and lost 2lbs, I'm not sure how but I'm pleased. I did definitely overeat (ballparked the calories at 3,500 on Christmas Eve then 4,500 on Christmas Day and 2,500 on Boxing Day) but drank a lot of water and ran each morning. I had been freaking out and planning how I'd lose…

Why not just allocate some calories to night eating? Or drink unsweetened tea? Maybe green tea since it doesn't contain caffeine.

Cold turkey, or those 40 calorie hot chocolate sachets.

I unleashed my inner fat kid today and ate whatever I wanted. I'm glad I found the feeling of being stuffed unpleasant and got bad wind from it. It's good motivation to avoid pigging out on that scale again. I am still glad I had an all out day though, I had fun with it and I'm prepared to go back to healthy eating…

Sorry if it's wrong to reply to an old thread (I'm a bit new) In case anyone ends up reading this I find it helps to eat with the spoon in my non-dominant hand. This forces me to eat slower because it's awkward so a small portion doesn't feel like it's gone in a flash.
