  • The snacking can't be helping, but have you tried a different form of exercise? From doing a lot of reading it appears your body can get used to a certain type of exercise and sees it as normal activity. Try something new and see if it helps. Good luck

  • I believe women should drink on average 1.6 litres of fluid a day, this does include tea, coffee, milk, juice and water. If the weather is hot or you are exercising then you will need more but 3 litres sounds excessive.

  • Thank you to all for your replies. I don't think I threw myself into too much exercise as such. I went on the exercise bike 2-3 times a week for just 20 minutes, the rest was walking the dog (she does get walked but the OH usually takes her so I started joining him). I burnt just enough calories to stop me from going over.…
