  • Clean eating has made all of the difference for me. I watched the documentary Hungry for Change, bought there book/recipe book and started cooking. I'm loving almost every recipe. I juice most days for one meal. I dropped 5 Ibs in 1 week then dropped back to 2-3 Ibs per week and have been maintaining that for a couple of…
  • I use a Polar. I like the fact that it syncs with cardio machines at the gym. Generally it is pretty accurate but it does require the chest strap. I don't as a general rule give myself extra burn discounts outside of my cardio time because then I would be tempted to eat extra calories. The display is good, it tracks your…
  • You are correct in that my spouse is miliarty and I would really like to get back to myself before he returns CONUS next June. Just as an FYI I do do interval training. Today I did 40 min treadmill on 1 inclined revving my heart to around the 170 range then dropping back to the 140s. I do this at least twice a week. I…

Beforehand I was always active but had to stop do to some frightening signs I might miscarry. My youngest is 2 months old. Just so you know I am not…
  • Okay made it publc.
  • I don't know how to make my diary public. At any rate I don't track my exercise just what I eat there. The exercise portion of the app is to limited to be useful.
  • Precisely my thoughts. Even if I'm not taking in enough my body should have to loose weight. It has to burn something. Everything I eat can be calculated. Think whole wheat tortilla, egg, oatmeal, fresh fruit, salad. I would love to figure out where the calculations could be off so I could fix them!
  • Oh and I've been trying for about 5-6 weeks now. What I don't get if the magic is calories in vs. calories out and essentially I've only got about 300 net calories a day how in the heck can my body hang onto the fat. I'm 5ft 7in and weight in at 198.
  • It is not uncommon for me to burn 600-900 calories at the gym. I don't eat back any of those calories. I am at 35% body fat.
