I like this idea! I'll hop on! 1/13/15 Just for today: 1. I will drink my recommended amount of water 2. I will do more work on my outside gym space 3. I will love who I am today.

Roasting a 13lb turkey, brussels sprouts, and butternut squash. Hello meat for salads and a large pot of turkey stock!

I drink a lot of herbals (peppermint, chamomile, lemon) but my favorite is rooibos. You can find many types of rooibos tea at your grocery store. I generally use some honey to sweeten mine, and if I want any type of milk, I use coconut'almond milk. I prefer to use looseleaf teas (ones you need strainers for). I used to buy…

I use real butter, olive oil, coconut oil, and bacon grease. Just depends on what I'm using it for :)

Go you! Keep it up!

That is awesome!

Never really thought to check stuff like that - I'll start looking out for things like that in the future.

Wow! Awesome job! I'm following your blog now, too, so I look forward to reading about your progress!

I love this thread.

In my experience, you will most certainly need a shower. In fact, I had the color leak through my shirt and stain my skin. After some thorough scrubbing, I got it off of my face, neck, arms, and legs, but my back (which I cannot reach) was a strange purple stain for almost a week. I'd suggest planning at least an hour in…

Boneless crock pot bbq chicken thighs, salad, and corn!

I'm simple. Place in crock pot, add bbq sauce, cook on low for 6-8 hours. I use boneless, but it falls off the bone if you don't anyway :p

If you can afford it, I'd make a healthy meal with 4 "servings" or so worth of food. If he wants to eat more to gain muscle, 2 servings of the meal will satisfy him. You eat one serving, and save the last serving as leftovers for the next day?

Only down 20 pounds and it was with a lot of yo-yo-ing due to, well, life happening. However, I did a lot of internal work this year. Forgiving people that I was dwelling on anger with, started meditating, learned to stop hating myself and love who I am at whatever stage of life I am at, and learning to see food for what…

Love these, following!

Holidays shouldn't be about guilt trips. We ask people to come to us because we are tight on money right now, and we also have a toddler. Packing kids up and traveling is far less easier than people want to make it sound.

Mine is only 2, but he's already figured out that we keep most things we don't want him into on the top shelves of our closet. He knows where they are, so we just wrap them as they come into the house, or we just don't bring them in until he's in bed. He sees lots of presents in the closet, and points to them, but…

You look awesome!!

That's great!! Good job!!

Be at/below 270 by the end of the month, Christmas if I'm lucky. I just want to stay active during the holidays.

About 1400, but I might eat some more turkey as a snack while watching Doctor Who since I have about 300 left. I also planned my "Dinner" (we eat at 3pm) last week, and did a treadmill workout this morning.

Woohoo!!

Update my wardrobe for sure. I'd love to go on a cruise, too!

I've already tracked my thanksgiving meal in my food diary. Being the person that will be making the food this year will help tremendously. Knowing that I don't have to eat everything I make is a bonus! I will be adjusting my meal this week and I finalize what recipes I'm using, but I am feeding a few people who don't care…

I can determine what is true hunger and what is boredom. Its always been a fine line for me.

Don't keep the things that you splurge on in your home. Once I identified my trigger foods, I began to get them out of my house. I will eat them on occasion when I go out, but having to pay for a small serving keeps me in check.

Congratulations!

I have, for the most part, cut out soda. I was severely addicted to the stuff. (Even diet, I'd easily drink 5-8 cans per day if I could. I've drank 18 in one day before) If there is no other option, I will have a diet occasionally now, but like twice a month. Anymore it just tastes like chemicals and syrup now, which I am…

Salmon, for sure.
