I've been working my way back into the routine. Would love to find be added for more support and motivation. Get me back to being accountable again. I had originally lost 140 pounds with 20 left to reach my goal but life got a little overwhelming and thrown upside down AND I gained a little bit back. I am looking to lose…

Weight loss does not always cause the boobs to shrink.... sometimes you can go from a C cup to a DD. The band size shrunk... but the girls seem to want to stay.

I drink a LOT of water every day but I still respond to salt just terribly. If I go over at all I can hold 6 pounds by the next morning. And if I am in a situation that there is extra salt for a few days in a row... I have seen 15 lbs up of water in a couple days. BUT then it will take a week or more to come back off.…

Don't be afraid to shine... Come sparkle in the light! It feels so good to finally take control and lose the weight! I am glad you came out of hiding! Here's to seeing 'more' (or should I say 'less') of you on MFP

My question is... did you start working out when you started to watch your food? If your new to working out and new to the change in eating... it could just be a matter of time for these changes to catch up in your body. If you haven't taken measurements... do it! You might just be gaining muscle and toning in areas which…

Nicely Put!! This applies to so many of us! I needed to see this reminder today! Thank you!

Something no one has mentioned here is your potassium level... your cells hold sodium and potassium (body's natural balance). If you don't have enough potassium in your blood cells they balance it out by holding sodium. Most people get WAY more sodium than needed everyday. You need to watch that balance. Many people don't…

Feel free to add me! Love getting/giving support! So much inspiration out there!

I would have to say it is the best reminder of how far I have come. Specially when I sit at a plateau like I have been for the last 6 weeks and get frustrated. I made it this far... I can keep going. I think there is also inspiration for others with it... how many times do you just look at the big number on the ticker? I…

I actually didn't start exercising until I had lost the first 50 pounds. Then I went to working out at home occasionally. I lasted 6 minutes before I was exhausted. I started with doing HIIT exercises and gave it my all each time. Eventually I worked my way to 12 minutes. But I was still only working out every so often. I…

Don't get discouraged... it is frustrating to be stuck on a plateau. I am saying this for you as much for me to remind myself of these same things. I am currently in week 5 of this plateau at this weight... and barely stepped off the plateau I was on prior for 6 months. Make changes in what your doing... look at your…

Love it on a lightly buttered English muffin. Or with fruit (peaches, pineapple, pears). Or on a lettuce salad. Or just plain with a spoon!

Haven't done 30 day shred... was going to be starting that one when I finish ripped. I have heard others say ripped was more difficult but don't know what their fitness levels really were.

I have been loving Ripped in 30... haven't seen loads off on the scale but my clothing sizes have dropped. So I know I lost inches without even pulling out the tape measure. I am on Week 4 and just started alternating with a HIIT treadmill walk/run. (Adding) I didn't have a super strong core... that has been a focus so…

Looking good!! Your doing awesome!!

I fight with being cold all the time... I am in Wisconsin also. I have been told it will eventually correct itself. How long that takes... not sure. I am guessing it is different for everyone. Fleece and long underwear have become some of my closest friends. :-)

Matron of Honor in March for my sister's wedding! AND of course... a strapless dress! So my arms are out in front! GRRR! I had wanted to be to down another 12 pounds by then... not sure I will make it. I just got off a 6 month stall which I have learned was from the stress I was under for this class I had to take/pass for…

I know there are alot of internet experts.... All I can tell you is what has worked for me. I eat part of my calories back. I keep track of where my 'Net' calories land. I have a ballpark that I like to stay in and that will let me lose weight. If I drop below or sit above the net calories that work for me... I will sit…

I almost always order the small (single) burger when I go to fast food places... I have learned that I don't have to have that full feeling everytime I eat. It is a HUGE mind over matter situation in the beginning. I have to tell you... a couple weeks ago I ordered a double cheese deluxe at culvers because I hadn't eaten…

Something my doctor had talked about when I started with the weight loss was that when I get to my goal weight that I would have to work to maintain it for at least 2 years. Then my body should start to see this as the new "normal" and maintaining should progressivly become easier. Which is what many have pointed out about…

Yes... I am losing weight. for the first 50 pounds I didn't work out at all and lost it all with just watching my calories in and calories out. Then I added exercise and learned I needed to make sure my net calories stayed in the "magic number" ballpark for me to keep losing. Eventhough your eating your calories and…
