Naomi nutrition is key to all this. I don't follow the meal plan exactly but I more or less follow it, just bend the rules to suit myself. I try to have oats on my training days for breakfast. Always with PP and sometimes berries/coconut or walnuts. I have the omelettes on the weekend when I'm home and have more time.…

I don't know about kj but there are 2 plans - Tone and Shape is about 1200 calories a day and Get Strong is about 1600 calories. It's up to you whether you follow the diet or not. I more or less follow it but eat MORE than suggested and end up around 1500 calories most days. Modify it to suit yourself, as long as you have…

Marie, Maxine's Challenge is a 12 week challenge consisting of a strict diet and training regime. It's no walk in the park, but will give fantastic results to those who stick to it. the first time I did it I didn't even stick to it and still got really good results!! I'm happy to add people (or have people add me) who are active and want genuine support. I am at goal weight, log in every day, go to the gym about 5 times a week, lift weights, walk 10,000 steps a day, do Spin classes. I eat mainly Paleo lifestyle foods, plus a bit of dairy, try to limit packaged food products. Might be a…

copied from a previous shared post: PMS Overeating & Binges—and More on Cravings by Dr. Daniel J. We…

Depends who you are, what your history is, what your goals are and what those 1530 calories are made up of. Do some research. Do lots of research. Although I see this is your 3rd post and you have no activity... Troll?

I listened to the Fitcast podcast this morning as well. It explains the broad outline of the book, the original title and why the publisher suggested this title - it will probably get more sales. And as they should, that is their (the publishers) job. The book actually sounds pretty good - probably nothing that a well read…

Day 15 Gratitude Challenge. Bought on by Donna leaving MFP. I'm really grateful for and to all the people who I have 'met' on MFP. From the peeps who I've deleted because they p*ssed me off, or the ones that lived in different time zones and I just couldn't keep up... To the ones who have taught me things even though I…

Day 14 Gratitude Challenge I'm grateful for the wonders of the Internet. I have asked myself many times over the last 2 years if I would perhaps be in a completely different space if I had the tools at hand now that I could have used 25 years ago when I started the whole yo-yo dieting cycle. Binge, purge, starve,…

Day 13 Gratitude Challenge. Today I am so so grateful for my close friends, who pick me up when I'm feeling down, encourage me when I'm lagging behind, laugh at my lame jokes, are always available at the end of the phone for a chat, accept my foibles, and are just there to share the good times with the bad, come what may.…

I'm a bit behind, have been posting on my news feed though... Here goes... Day 12 Gratitude Challenge (yesterday, sorry I missed a day but I did think about what to write yesterday and this was it): I am grateful to live in a lovely community where I walk into a shop and am greeted with "Hi Skim, can I get you the usual?"…
