I read this all the time about Yoga, I know I really should do it but I can't get into it. A friend told me that I just need to keep going until I can relax into it. Thanks for the reminder about the Melatonin too, I have a script for it and keep forgetting to have it filled. Menopause sux.

Good for you Marie!! I'll look at the updates later PJ. I'm falling behind with the challenge but I'm trying to work out a plan to get back into it for this final 4 weeks. Juggling work and family and challenge is, well... challenging!!!

I'm here... Haven't completely fallen off the wagon, but not training all that much either. Hope everyone is doing well - I am thinking of you XO

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around much. To say that I am busy is a MASSIVE understatement!!! I'm working all hours around the clock at the moment. Have NOT done a training session this week due to late nights working I can't get up at 4:30am and I'm getting up at 6am to get ready for work and get going - so it looks like…

Sorry to hear PJ - hope you feel better soon! Last night I ate half a box of Jatz. I got home late, was TIRED and don't even know why I did it. AM SO SICK today - massive pains in my stomach, I can barely stand up straight the pain is so bad. Wheat is so bad for me... And I KNEW that last night!!! Argh - horrible way to be…

Well, this has been another super busy weekend and I am up late for the 3rd night in a row. Will also be out tomorrow night so I'm sure to crash and burn this week if I don't get myself sorted. I'm supposed to get up at 4:40am tomorrow to get to the gym, so I had better get to bed SOON or I wont make it. I've had a rough…

Hi PJ - so sorry I've been absolutely run off my feet busy!! I am here!! Training has been going well for me. Had to switch around a couple of days this week due to being busy but haven't missed a day. Food wise, I did go off the rails one night and ate an entire bag of Allens snakes. What can I say, I was tired and cranky…

Happy Sunday Challengers!! I had a rest day yesterday but did my Saturday workout this morning at home. Triceps and Abs - I did 10 sets of 10 tricep pushups superset with about 200 crunches. I had to drop to my knees at about the 3rd set and by the end of the 10th set my arms were begging me to stop!! I was failing each…

Welcome Dani!!! It's not too late to start - better now that in week 10 :)

Did a CIRCUIT class this morning after leg/back session. Didn't love it but it was a great workout - lots of cardio and HIIT work. Not sure I'll do it again but it's good to do something different every now and again. Day 12 and feeling good!!
-
Marie, I am always pressed for time and ALWAYS superset everything I do at the gym. I can do a good workout in 40 minutes and 60 minutes for me is a long workout. Then I do my cardio after. If you stick with the Nutrition plan and do Get Strong, you will slim down for sure. Keep up the good work. Danispen is going to join…

Hi Marie, Glad you had a nice birthday!! Good idea to plan your training around yourself, if you are relying on someone who is NOT reliable, then it wont happen. Just go in the morning and if you get an extra cardio workout in then that's a bonus. RE the thighs - your NUTRITION is going to shred the fat from your body.…

Fitness Videos... Anyone got some to share? Here's a link to P90X Accelerator. I haven't done it so can't comment but apparently it's good. I had the Jillian Michaels ones but can't find them. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4222844/P90X%20Accelerator.mp4

PJ, hope you are feeling better this week. Funny - I had a letter from my dr telling me that I am due for an update (same thing)... I thought of you!! LOL! Camping sounds good, good work skipping the pav! Missing a workout here and there wont matter, I always think that as long as the nutrition component is on track that's…

Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday!! I've been Super Busy with life, but tracking well for the challenge. Last week I fitted in 5 training sessions and 2 cardio sessions, plus walked 10,000 steps every day. My FitBit had a shower on Saturday morning so had to have a little holiday in a glass of rice, but it survived.…

I have had a cracker of a week!! (*) 2 x upper and 2 x lower training sessions. 3 x cardio sessions and walking every day. Diet has been spot on according to my goals. Really happy with progress so far - LOL!!! It's day 5!! hehehe... Hope I'll be this focussed on Day 50! I'm seeing my old favourite PT tomorrow morning for…

Marie, failure is not an option. Ok so you had some chocolate but that was then and this is now. Don't beat yourself up about it - this is all about choices... good better and best. Move onwards and upwards and you will be fine. One day does not make the challenge a bust. Just keep going one day at a time :) Fantastic…

Also, thanks Marie, sorry wasn't ignoring you put your questions got answered and I forgot to say so above!! Thanks for the link, I'll read that later. I haven't played squash for about 20 years, I don't think that there are as many squash courts around as there used to be. It's hard work!!

My revised TRAINING plan is as follows: Mon - Chest and Shoulders / Spin Tues - Legs and Back Wed - Chest and Shoulders / Spin Thurs - Rest day Friday - Legs and Back / Cardio of some sort Sat - Triceps and Abs Sun - Rest day Plus walking at least 10,000 steps a day. NUTRITION GOALS: Macros 140g (36%) protein; 75g (44%)…

yay for everyone!! Lou, I don't follow the meal plan all that well. I kinda-sorta do but I pretty much have my own mix of protein and veggies for lunch and dinner. As long as I hit my planned macros I'm pretty happy. Peej - LOL at 82 days to go - yesterday I was on top of the world, felt fabulous, was thinking to myself…

I'm reading this on the train on my way home from work with tears in my eyes. I'm just so happy for you and glad to have seen the transformation along the way as one of your MFP friends. Congratulations and be proud, you have done an amazing job of healing yourself from the inside out!! Brilliant!!
-
Well done Marie!!! I'll reply tomorrow, I'm off to bed.
-
Peejay, we are so similar in our measurements except my bust is 98cm and thighs are about 57cm. Sadly, I fear the bust is about to go down a bit but these things happen. Oh and I'm 167cm.

Just did a blog post about the challenge - so excited this time around.
-
Challenge starts tomorrow! I'm excited!! How is everyone else feeling?
-
Hi Lou!!! Good to have you on board!! I have both the vanilla and chocolate Max Nite Time and find the chocolate the best for a YUM factor, but the vanilla is good too and I use that one if I'm going to mix it with cottage cheese and coconut for an ice-cream substitute. Just take one day at a time and as they say -…

Agree with the above, it's a good tool to help with weight loss - nutrition is king, exercise helps and depending what your goals are, MFP will help you get there. I've lost 30kg and working on maintaining it.

Week 2 Pre-Season!! I had a really huge weekend and had a party yesterday, went a bit overboard and feeling seedy today... Not great but I'm looking at it like my last big bust and let's call it a re-feed. Back to the plan today :) No training today but I'll be on track with nutrition.
-
Marie, that's fine if you don't want to use Max Supplements it's entirely up to you. The Top 10 have to have proof of purchase, but there are usually threads and threads on the subject in the forums!! As long as you keep up your protein to the recommended 2g per kilo body weight you will progress. Carbs to 1-2g per kilo…

Naomi nutrition is key to all this. I don't follow the meal plan exactly but I more or less follow it, just bend the rules to suit myself. I try to have oats on my training days for breakfast. Always with PP and sometimes berries/coconut or walnuts. I have the omelettes on the weekend when I'm home and have more time.…
