Never hurts to have a foundation of cardio especially if you are completely new to exercising. Starting with cardio will help with both: lifting, and more productive cardio. :wink:

Pea protein powder is also available. Personally, I have NO experience with it--so, I'm not able to comment on taste. But, it's glutten-free, dairy-free. Good luck! =]

I used it back for Thanksgiving to make a "can of cream" replacement....so, the majority of the cream-substitute was almond milk---did not taste so great. I could definitely tell.

Sounds reasonable to me. If you want to track more closely, consider adding extra tools for measuring your gains/loses; simple tape measure, BF%, lifting log possibly. Just ideas to help judge your progress--since you've got your calories in check it sounds. Good luck!

Welcome! Even with your limited weights, you've still got room for additional exercises. Using your dumbbells, you can still hit up some back rows, dead lifts, shoulder presses, tricep extensions, and more I'm sure.
