No help to offer but I'm very frustrated too. For example, today I worked out and logged with Strava (which is the only way I can get my Peloton rides into apple HealthKit, so my peloton said 840 calories, Strava said 540something and loaded that to apple. But my active calories for the day say 333! It's like apple ignores…

Not if you are on a keto diet. Otherwise no big deal at all.

I log the day I eat it. Some people will count a day from the time they wake up until they go to bed. It's just easier for me to follow the calendar.

Hello, I'm 80 lbs down with about 40 or so more to go. Always looking for active friends
-
Great job! Congrats on your hard work.

Multivitamin, fish oil, vit d. I'd say I remember about 3 days a week.
-
It depends on the calorie content. Potatoes are logged accurately. Lettuce- not so much, pretty much every salad in my log for three years has two cups of romaine.

Try out different instructors, you will find their styles are different and some will be a better fit. Also the seat pain goes away after about 2 weeks!

It takes time. Be patient. You didn't gain it in 6 months and you won't lose it in six months either, and that is OK. I'm 70 lbs from my highest weight with about 50 more to go. You can do it!
-
You can add me, 70 lbs down about 50 to go
-
Always pear shaped no matter what I weigh!
-
Sorry to hear you hit a rough patch. Congrats on getting back to your routine.
-
You can add me. 66 lbs down 50 or so more to go
-
Add me! SW 283. CW 231 GW 175 then maybe 160 after a few months in maintence.

37 year old mom of two here too

Just stay the course, as long as you are at a deficit the scale will move. There are tons of exercises you can do at home. Just keeping up with a toddler is a calorie burner. Spend an hour doing exactly what they do, it is exhausting! Add in a daily walk for a little more movement. There are tons of strength exercises you…

I don't disagree that it is possible to lose 6lb of fat in a month, but you have to lose more than 6lb on the scale to do it. Every lb lost will be some fat, some water, and yes even some lean. You can minimize but not eliminate lean tissue loss with slow losses, adequate protein intake, and resistance training but you can…

Just some advice from someone who has been there before. This is what worked for me. I would start at maintenance for two weeks to get a good baseline and then cut by 100-150 or so calories a day for a week at a time. Watch your supply. I started out at about 2200 cal/day to maintain. For me when I dipped below 1800 cals…

You can add me.

Pasta is hard to measure after cooking. Weigh it dry then cook. Sometimes I even boil two pots when cooking for my family so I can keep my measured portion separate.

Fruit yes. Veggies mostly. Is every zucchini I grill really medium? I don't think so but being off by five or ten calories there doesn't matter. The olive oil I toss the zucchini with is measured. I think every salad I log starts with two cups of romaine. I don't get too excited if I am off by a few calories on the…

I have little kids too and they really are pretty easy to feed. It is a lot faster for me to give them something quick instead of make an entire meal, but I really don't want them to struggle with weight the way I have. I think family time around the table is important so I really try to give them healthy foods and then…

6lbs of weight loss will not be 6lbs if fat loss.
-
It is much easier to stay on budget if you cook.

I think your goal is very reasonable. I'm 5'10" and currently 220. I'm in a 16 now and can fit some 14s. My goal is 165. Last time I was there I was a 10/12 and definitely not thin
-
I agree with others... It depends on how close you are to goal. 5'10" and I wore a 20w at 285. I had to lose almost 50 lbs before I dropped a single size. But now the difference between a 16 and 14 is only about 15 lbs.

Portion control is key. Individually wrapped chocolates let me have a bit without going crazy. My favorite are the Dove promises dark
-
I'm confused. Yes chicken breast is high in protein. You should select the weight of what you actually ate don't guess or fudge it to hit or avoid a goal. There really is no downside to going over your protein goal. It should be seen as a minimum unless you have a renal condition.

My Vitamix was worth every penny. I love it

I do something similar. I call it freezer week. I will go to the store and pretty much just get milk and some fresh fruit. It is amazing when you realize what you probably already have on hand. Plus it helps rotate your staple items so you can get some fresh ones next time they are on sale.
