  • Thanks everyone for the info and tips! I liked the idea about the kids, I have 2 boys, one weighing 122lbs & the other at 77lbs. I may attempt my smaller guy! I am going to check out YouTube also!
  • HI Susan, I lost 46 lbs last year and have regrettably gained it all back! I am on here for re-motivation as well. I am starting my new diet tomorrow and am looking forward to it. I have always wanted to do a 5k race but never been brave enough to do it. I thought you had to jog the entire way. Congratulations for your 40…
  • Thanks everyone!
  • Oh, yeah. I've been off an on since Thanksgiving allowing myself cheats here and there. I kept telling myself the day after Christmas is back on track with no screw ups. I wouldn't mind losing another 5- 10lbs but I am trying really hard to maintain. Thankfully during the holidays I did. I had gained 5 but then lost…
  • Okay, my boss took my to lunch the other day and the waitress asked if I wanted desert. I told her I had my eye on the peanut butter pie, but didn't know if I should do it or not. She said "Oh, honey why not , it's not like you have anything to worry about!" I just felt like that was the best compliment.....she has no idea…
  • They are so jealous. I looked at your pictures. You look awesome, you should feel so proud of yourself. It's a shame that your friends don't tell you that!:explode:
  • That is fantastic. Did you buy the smaller size clothes yet?
  • I eat 4 oz of meat at each meal and I have been told by weight loss consultants to always weigh your meat or cooked vegestables after you cook it. If you do not have a scale then it should be the size of a deck of cards or approx. the size of your palm. Enjoy your recipe!!
  • 1407+ my 47=1454
  • That really sucks. .......What ever you do, don't let it get you so down that you revert to food. You do not want to gain back any weight that you have lost.
  • You crack me up!! I love fiber one bars....they taste so good. I have only had them a few times and didn't recall the side effects......
  • Ya know, if you didn't bring a salad then they would be asking why not. People think Salad=Diet and they are waiting for you to get bored with it and as soon as you don't have the salad they are going to say Oh, quit your diet huh? Salad got too boring? They don't understand that you enjoy salad and have made lifestyle…
  • Okay, this shocked me!! While getting a grocery cart the other day I ran into one of the baggers there. He use to be a customer at the bank I worked at and I hadn't seen him in a while. Anyhow, he stopped in his tracks and said "You look different!" I said, "yeah I have lost some weight". As I started to continue to walk…
  • I think the store owner did the calculation himself. The ingredients read corn meal & lime water. I have spoken with other spanish women and they did not know for sure but they have said they aren't many calories, not like flour tortillas. So, I would have to say between 5 calories and 40 calories....Lets make it 25!!…
  • look at your waist....how exciting!!!
  • Being homemade I think they are way less than the corn tortillas at the grocery store. They don't have all the perservatives....they only last a day or two in the fridge unlike store bought last a lot longer. I love them too.....
  • Thank you for the support!!
  • I over ate this weekend too. I had it planned ahead of time that I was going to. But just the same, it is important to get back on track. Yippee for both of us for getting back on track. I did learn one thing this weekend and it is that I do not miss that over full feeling. I have realized I am not missing anything. Okay,…
  • I agree with AshleySeay, you need protein. Skip the potato and bring 4 oz of low sodium turkey with you instead. For breakfast eat and egg w/ a slice of cheese and have on some 40 cal toast. Yummy---quick and easy!!

  • Sarah- tech.....My dermatologist did perscribe Clobex....I didn't even mention it. It has almost completely cleared up. I have only been using it once a day for a week and a half. He is also checking to see if my insurance will approve for Humira.
  • Thanks for the vibes, I'm almost there now, only 5.5lbs left to goal!!
  • Thanks sunshine girl!!
  • I have been buying homemade corn tortillas from a mexican food store near my house. The gentleman at the store said he thinks it is 5 calories per tortilla. Does anybody agree with this?
  • Awesome Job!!!:drinker:
  • I have 10 lbs left to get to goal. I can't believe it. I started out at 191.5lbs and have lost a total of 41.5lbs. I have gone from a size 16 (busting out of a 14:blushing: ) to a size 8. I am thinking possible by the time I get rid of these 10 lbs I will be wearing a size 6!!!! :drinker:
