I used to watch a weight loss programme (brain fart, forgot what it's called) and they weighed in every week. They were all losing around 8-15 pounds a week, then I realised it's because they were all over 200 pounds. The lighter ones however, (under 180 pounds), lost around 4-8 pounds a week. No idea why, but I know it's…

Machines are generally (most of the time) set for a 150 pound person. If you weigh heavier than that, then you would probably burn more.

Dedicate one day such as sunday or one of your days off, by making different chopped up salads in the fridge. Cook all your chicken for the week, store it in the fridge. Get the tuna out and ready, store it in the fridge. Etc etc. That way you've always got something to quickly get, dump in the frying pan or oven without…

Hooray! Good luck on your weightloss, chicken is too good not to eat; you can still eat it but find healthier ways to cook it as opposed to frying!

Same, I always weigh everything and make sure it's a serving size as opposed to filling the whole plate/bowl! Also, i'm planning to run 5k races - at school I used to REFUSE to do P.E and never take part in after school clubs that were sport related or anything. Now i'm a fitness freak!

I think i'm the only one that agrees with you so far :p I hated the taste of oatmeal when I first started eating clean, it tasted like soggy cardboard - like wheetabix. However now wheetabix is a craving of mine and i'm hoping the same will happen with oatmeal! (For now I just add lots of kiwi/raspberries to sweeten it up)
