If you included the activity you do in your job in determining your overall activity level - and it sounds like you did - then you need not and should not list it again as exercise. You've theoretically already counted those calories burned. Good luck in achieving your goals on MFP!

I didn't say it was impossible to have adverse reactions to ibuprofen; I said nothing at all about whether ibuprofen could cause nausea. I am asking for a credible citation (not wikipedia) that says you should not take ibuprofen for headaches if you have no known issues with that medication, due to its ability to cause…

You know the chocolate has caffeine, right? Peer-reviewed studies showing that ibuprofen CAUSES headaches (or 'many other health problems, for that matter) would be wonderful, if you could link them.

Please provide links to any studies showing the addictive nature of aspartame.

We'll get rid of antibiotics, too, right?

At least one of these does not meet my understanding of the definition of 'metal.'

How, and why, is this obvious? Please clarify.

Citing Mercola is not generally going to go too well around here, historically: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/988949-debunked-declarations-dr-mercola-and-dr-oz

That appears, by my reading, to be the writings of an individual (Mark Gold) TO the FDA, pursuant to a legal action he - or the group he represented - was taking against the FDA regarding aspartame. Mark Gold's further opinions on the subject can be seen here: http://americanloons.blogspot.com/2011/02/154-mark-gold.html

This is probably the same reason folks keep pushing fresh vegetables on us; Big Farm just wants to make a buck. *Nods sagely.*

Hadn't seen a good flouncing on the forum in days. Thanks.

I got lost right around the point where someone's logic chain "proved conclusively" that an alcoholic could 'detox' by switching from beer to vodka or vice versa, and they confirmed that this was the case. How does that work, again?

"Meant for" by whom, exactly? Are fruits and vegetables "meant for" human consumption, or are we merely able to eat them safely in order to gain nutritional benefits from them?

Try it for about a month, assuming you're sticking with Insanity the whole time. If it works, great! If it doesn't, the difference in calories from 1800 to 2000 shouldn't strongly impact your weight.

I am not advocating this particular site or its particular diet - though there's nothing particularly wrong with a whole-food diet if you want to pursue it - but this is a handy bunch of hyperlinks to the micronutrient data for a bunch of foods to consider before deciding if you need to supplement:…

They tried to, but gave up in frustration 1/2 way through.

Picard and Riker would like to challenge your assumptions about the Red Shirts.

I did read them. I'm not understanding - at all - what you're thinking you'll accomplish by selectively abstaining from specific foods. I'm also not understanding - at all - how your response actually answered the question I put to you; could you clarify?

Is it your belief that we should simply nod and 'agree to disagree' when folks insist the world is flat, or claim that the world is run by a secret shadow organization?

What do you believe is the chemical difference in the sugar found in those foods you do eat, versus the sugar found in 'sweet treats?' On a biochemical level, what makes the sugars found in peanut butter acceptable, while the sugars found in - for example - a Hershey's bar are unacceptable for you?

Cheat days are okay, provided you're keeping your weekly total on target (or you're deliberately choosing to cheat for, for example, your birthday or a holiday meal), Heavy lifting is sometimes difficult to maintain progress with if you're not getting adequate rest for your muscles, but individual results vary. Unless…
