Whey protein isn't magic, just a convenient and - ounce for ounce - inexpensive way to meet your protein macros. Since your protein needs are highest on exercise days, you'll most likely benefit from taking int on those days. That said, if you're meeting (or, better, exceeding) your protein macros regardless of whey…

She's lost that lovin' feeling. . . I hate it when that happens.

We have a winner! Incidentally, I'm one of those (weirdos) who likes Diet Moxie.

Unless you're diabetic or have another specific medical condition related to sugar consumption, sugar's just a carb. There's no reason to track it separately without such specific medical issues.

As I have never had someone force me to exercise under threat of violence, I suppose the answer to whether I'd exercise if I HAD to or not is 'yes.'

You can do it. Start here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1069275-links-in-mfp-you-want-to-read-again-and-again

And here we go!

Typically two meals under 400 calories each, then snacks that total around 300 calories, and the third meal is whatever my exercise for the day has allowed for the remainder.

Based on the pleasure centers of the brain which are stimulated by. . . wait for it. . . both activities. If the argument is "sugar triggers identical receptors in the brain as drugs and alcohol, ZOMG! Bad!" then "those same receptors are triggered by exercise" is a perfectly reasonable counterpoint.

Convict Conditioning is another equipment-free option. I believe there's still a youtube channel for it.

You made me search for 'egg pizza recipes;' I hope you're proud of yourself.

It's not bad for you unless you, personally, are sensitive to aspartame. The levels at which you'd need to ingest aspartame for 'carcinogen' to be an issue are beyond what most could eat without deliberate, serious effort.

Multiple sources linked in this very thread disagree with the notion that coffee dehydrates you, with scientific studies to back up the disagreement. Because they're already in this thread, I trust you can go through and find them, rather than needing to have them linked again.

Is it your belief that the calories interfere with the your body's ability to derive hydration from the water in coffee?

What an amazing coincidence.

Cashews. Serving size: 1 container

Is not accurate.

None of the above is a good reason for coffee not counting toward hydration.

There are almost no 'bad foods' except when an individual has a particular medical issue. I am glad paleo is working for you; in many cases, the results folks see from paleo are similar to what many folks saw when Atkins was all the rage: mostly water weight lost.

While true, neither sugars nor carbs are necessarily bad for a person, barring specific medical conditions.

Weight loss isn't linear. Stay the course. The closer one gets to goal weight, the more difficult it sometimes becomes to continue to see results on the scale. Are you eating back at least half your exercise calories? Are you tracking sodium? Both can impact apparent weight loss rates.
-
Yes. Yes, I do.

BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate. That's the minimum your body needs, before exercise, and therefore not NET.

Except when specific medical conditions apply: Fruit doesn't hinder weight loss. Sugar doesn't hinder weight loss. Fat doesn't hinder weight loss. Eating at a caloric surplus hinders weight loss.
