Yes, C25K is a great beginner's running program. There are tons of apps that will keep you on track and challenge you at a healthy pace. My husband and I started it several months ago and are planning to run our first 5K in a couple weeks. The program truly works! Good luck! :)

Yeah, don't weigh yourself too often! As someone else suggested, only jump on the scale once a week, in the AM before you eat or drink anything. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this, but have you tried farmer's cheese? It tends to be lower in calories, fat, cholesterol, etc. and it actually tastes like cheese! It's amazing! It may be more expensive than regular cheese, but it's very worth it. I hate eating the fat free stuff too. :wink:
