  • It's for a breast reduction so I'm technically within the bmi range they will operate on (bmi of 35 and that's what I am). The surgeon said he could operate now, but would prefer if I lose at least 20lbs first. I would like to lose most of it before, though. I don't want to get a reduction/lift and then lose weight and…
  • Storm crow is awesome!
  • Cosmos the mini Australian shepherd, Lumen the muted calico, and Rubisco (Ruby) the black and white cat.
  • I eat low carb, but don't do high fat. I do a mixture of fat/protein and low carb.
  • Yikes! This sounds horribly dangerous! Your body needs fats, carbs and protein! Fats are important because they give you energy. Some vitamins are also dependant on fats for absorption ie you will not get that vitamin, no matter if you overdose on it, if you do not eat fat. Carbs are also very important for the body. I…
  • You need to eat more. And as a side note, I wouldn't drink milk or juice. Milk... Well I'm sure you know the debate. And juice, it's just empty calories.
  • I'm 5'9 and my goal is 140. I was 150 5 years ago and was happy, but felt I could lose a little more
  • None. Unless your physician has specified a vitamin supplement. Eat a healthy, well rounded diet and you will be fine. You're just paying for expensive piss when you take vitamin supplements.
  • I've heard it lowers your blood pressure quite quickly. That can be quite dangerous.
  • Oh, and maybe any advice that you have for newbies at weight training :)

  • Thanks for all the suggestions! I have some great stuff to work with now.
  • Thanks! I have tried to get more protein in me. I have my macros set at 20/30/50 (carb/fat/protein), but I always end up around 40% carb and maybe 20% protein. I'll try eating more beans. I'll check out the V8 next time I'm out. Thanks again!

  • I usually buy coconut milk or whole milk. I was just at my moms earlier when I had the coffee and that was all she had. I do have a hard time with veggies though. I've been trying to eat mini cucumbers more and have been having red bell peppers. I find it harder to incorporate veggies on the weekend. During the week I try…

  • I'm on w3d3! I love it so far. What you need to do is just get out and do it. I'm notorious for the "oh I will start on Monday because it's a new week" thing. Well let me tell you, "Monday" never came for me. Atleast, not until I said screw it, and started c25k on a Thursday. It is tough, but it is a manageable tough. I…
  • Haha yup. I've figured that out the hard way. I thought losing weight would be a breeze because of all the great stories of people just dropping the pounds because they breastfeed. Not me. I have read that about 1 pound a week is safe if you want to maintain supply. I'm not too concerned about supply right now, my son…
  • In 2010 I weighed 210 pounds, did dr Bernstein for 5 months and lost 60 pounds. From the time I got off Bernstein, to the time I found out I was pregnant (October 2011) I had put all back on, plus 8 pounds. So when I found out I was pregnant I was at 218. I was very ill during my pregnancy, so I only gained 5 pounds which…
