Update... Still looking for Puget Sounders or Washington?

Hey West coast! Most of my MFP friends are east and Canadians. Great folks but they are all done and in bed by the time I'm posting my numbers for the day. Would love to find some closer at least in time zone. I'm about 50 miles south of Seattle on an island in Puget Sound.

Welcome back! I share your challenge. Started 225, current 177, ideal 168, goal 165. Been plateaued for a loooong time. Been all the way down to ideal but did not hold it. Had bypass a year ago and it actually slowed me down even though I was up and moving right away. My problem is a voracious appetite from 3 pm til I hit…

This is an outstanding place! I don't like "points". I'm a calorie guy and they got em here. As fast as new foods come out they seem to get added. My only challenge is just staying true and being honest with myself and the board. Then all my MFP friends seem to have stopped posting so I need new ones whom I can encourage…

Wow! lots of responses! I use fitbit with my Scoche heart monitor but seldom go to fitbit site. But I am pretty regular here. If we get to be friends here maybe you can lead me to the fitbit friends location. I'm not into competing but am into encouraging and getting encouragement. Sending MFP friend request.

Sending friend request. Not new but all my friends have stopped posting. Looks like we have the same situation. Your face is familiar but not sure I know your old name. Lets hang together.

Wow! Awsome! Awesome!

Oh, I forgot, My insulin prescription was cut in half at my Dr visit as well. Awesome feeling!

Yup, me too. Our own Mastermind group!

Okay, one last thought and I'll shut up. LOL You are in the right place. MyFitnesspal has ALL the tools to get you where you want to be. Someone will correct me if this is not correct. But go back into your profile. Set your weight goal and be sure all your data is correct. The where it offers to establish your daily net…

First answer. Do NOT get down on yourself. You have made wonderful progress! That last 10-20 lbs is the toughest for all of us. Second is be patient with yourself and your program (If you can) Third is realize like I struggle with that this is not really a temporary thing where we can acheive our goal and then move on with…

Occonor, I went back over your diary a bit and only partially agree with those saying you are not eating enought. Fact is to lose weight there needs to be a daily "NET" deficit of calories. At your age you require more calories than I do at my age. That said, coming in at gross numbers ove 1000 is not an indication of not…

Be concerned but not scared. Some times the body simply needs to adjust. Try a week or so to keep up the moderate exersize and just eat what you think you need to "maintain". Then after your body "adjusts" start up the dieting again. Also there are some studies, which frankly I question but that may have bering. They are…

Yikes! Been there done that, got the T-shirt and the cap. LOL But just keep truckin. Two steps forward, one step back.

When this happens if it is so much I cant really track, I don't. But then have to get back on the program the very next day. Tracking our food and weights is the secret to our success in the end. But one X-out day is not the end of the road at all. Just a bump to quote our President. We can do this!

Yup, I have one of those days every so often. Usually most of it comes after dinner. All you can do is accept it as part of the process, fall forward, remember that it does not matter how many times you fall. Only how many times you get back up and in the arena again. Hang in there. This is do-able!

Awesome lady! You look terrific! Congrats! An inspiration to others!

Now if I can just figure out how to get my photo uploaded... LOL
