A continuing journey - getting over that plateau!

I've been working at this for awhile; Over 6 months ago I started walking on a daily basis (I began with 30 minute walks and quickly progressed to hikes over 1.5 hours!). Once I got back to university (final year!) I started weight training at my gym. My Fiance and I have kept pretty well to a 5-6 day a week workout schedule, and we do eat well (e.g. homecooked meals, no processed foods). Despite this, I am at a plateau. My stats are as follows:

SW: 180
CW: 150-152
GW: 135

I have been around the 150 mark for about a month, and frankly it is getting on my nerves so I am here to do something about it :) I want to make sure I stay on track with my eating goals in terms of calories (accounting of course for the massive amounts that I burn doing heavy lifting) and get DOWN TO THAT GOAL!

Super excited to be back here everyone :)

Welcome back! I share your challenge. Started 225, current 177, ideal 168, goal 165. Been plateaued for a loooong time. Been all the way down to ideal but did not hold it. Had bypass a year ago and it actually slowed me down even though I was up and moving right away. My problem is a voracious appetite from 3 pm til I hit the pillow. Snackin and grazing. Sending friend request. :)

Welcome back. I started at 245 and am currently at 192. I got stuck around 205 for several weeks but eventually started losing again. It's a marathon, not sprint so hang in there.

I too share the problem of "late night grazing" - healthy food, but still not helpful when you have a goal to reach.
