update: Nov 15th half way to 60 km walking goal. (almost) 29.57 km completed. haven't done stairs in a while....I am finding I need to conserve energy for walking or else I just sleep all day and the dishes pile up. xo sj.

Took two days off from walking because of sore left foot. Slept most of the day yesterday and all last night. OK, so 29 floors didn't happen today, but 12 floors did! 10 minutes of heartpounding resting every 2 floors just enough so my heart wouldn't explode....baby (stair) steps right? also walked 2.6 km today. Total for month 13.4 km. over and out. sj

walked 4.8 km today. total for Nov so far is 10.8 so I've got some work to do to get to 60. I've taken 4 days off because of cramps and being tired so it felt really good to get on the road today. just checking in to brag. Since July 15th, I've walked a total of 98.3 km. today I walked 4 km and had no joint pain. a major victory for me. still miss carrot cake a lot though. sj

Sleepy update. I was awake at 4 am so decided to get my day going early. Went for a 70 min 3.7 km walk as I watched the sun come up. Ok day today, very grey outside, but I kinda like it. Felt weak, didn't walk much at all. Stayed on track foodwise, more or less. update... ok, so I took my bike out today. First walked to the gas station to blow up the tires a bit then into High Park for a slightly safer place to ride than on the streets. thanks for your encouragement! today was a better day, I walked over 3 km and did about 3 hours work prepping for my choir and other projects. I feel it has been a pretty productive day. Let's hope I can keep some consistency. blessings to you all! sj
