  • funny thread! For all you larger ladies, go to Breakout Bras! they have a great selection for us larger than the average size woman ans some are very pretty. I was an 34I, but not sure anymore. I need to order more as all my bras are getting big! Yeah!! http://www.breakoutbras.com/category/full-figure-plus-size
  • My Dh's spiritual adviser just asked him if I was ok! He saw that I had dropped quite a bit of weight and he wanted to make sure it was something I was trying to do, not because of an illness. No one else but my teenage daughter has commented though. FYI my ticker is off because I set it up prior to having my latest baby.…
  • I started seeing it in my face after about 10 lbs.
  • I was 170 before my last pregnancy. With this last pregnancy I got up to 193. I am now 156!! (I'm 5'6") and I will hopefully be at 140 soon. :)
  • My favorite?? Reeses Peanut butter cereal (I think that's the name) is my all time favorite, but it is in no way appropriate for a diet or even for breakfast! I now eat oatmeal with just a touch of brown sugar.
  • I'm dying to try this, but I don't know if my kids will go for it. I may make it for myself :) just http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/02/light-swiss-chard-frittata.html#more Check out the rest of the site. There is a section of wonderful recipes for lent, and they already calculated the calories
  • salt in moderation is a good thing. It is a natural electrolyte and something my dr told me to increase in my diet as I was not getting enough! (I was getting very light headed, low energy, etc.)
  • I know that's bound to happen, but writing it down makes it feel better. It may also make me more accountable to that lost pound. I have to keep going or all that work to lose that little pound was for nothing. Working out today really reminded me of how good it was to be thin. I remember those days and want them back! lol
  • Thank you! I'm hoping seeing the number 1 will be motivation to keep going and get to number 2 or 3. :)
  • I just recorded...and it looks so good to see that on my signature! I can't wait to get that number higher!!
  • That's good to know!! thank you everyone! I think I'll stick with Thursdays as my "weigh day." It may give me motivation to be good over the weekend. :)
  • home made chocolate cake! It kills me!
  • I'm a SAHM too. My youngest is 9 months and the oldest is 18 and many in between :) It's the constant food that is the biggest struggle!
  • I find it's easier to keep some cooked chicken either in the fridge or or cut up in the freezer (depending upon how long it will take for me to use it.) I throw the chicken in tortilla shells, and salads. I love it in salads with chopped nuts! lol I could eat that everyday. :) What about making an egg casserole the night…
  • I'm right with you on the breakfast! I need to change mine as well. I fought off the hunger by drinking a diet coke, pobably not the best option, but at least it was calorie free  I like the idea of an omlette in the morning. Would fresh eggs be as good as a choice as egg beaters?? I always have eggs on hand, but…
  • Breastfeeding baby #9 here! I'm 41 and doing it again. :) I'm finding the pounds come off a lot slower than they did in my 20's and 30's so now I'm here. I also found that I would keep about 5-10 extra pounds until I weaned and always thought it was easier to lose weight when I wasn't breastfeeding. I guess the idea that…
  • ah..Thank you so much. It is so helpful to have others to turn to about this food stuff! I feel like there are very few people to confide in about how hard it is to "just eat less" (the usual advice I hear when my diet is brought up!) I could definitly use a few friends with this :)
