Having just committed to no dairy due to an allergy to "milk protein" - (which is not the same as lactose intolerant - so no magic pill to my dismay), I am having to eat cleaner than ever. Figure out what will work for you. Me. I start with exercising. Once I am exercising regularly, the eating comes next. First becoming more conscious of what I am eating and then logging it. I really hate logging but I know that it works. When I don't log....I don't lose.

When my son took horseback riding lessons and had saddle sores. It was recommended to use Desitin. So any of the baby rash ointments, etc should help relieve the sore. Would a pillow help?

Since the scale is a discouragement for you, don't focus on the number. Focus on your measurements. Continue to monitor and log your food and exercise. I know from experience that when I don't log my "old" habits gradually creep back in. My weight is about the same as it was this time last year, but I am in a size smaller.…
