I don't know what the source of Protein is, but I like the SYNTRAX products. I order them from Amazon. I like them because they come in fruit flavors, and use water. I don't always like the "milky" taste.

It is considered a natural diuretic, however, when my mom was on Hospice care, the nurse told her that coffee also helps to keep you "regular". So, I think they "cancel" each other out. Just my thoughts.

I pay attention to my total calories, but also, I need to keep my protein grams up, and my carbs down. I also make sure I have my fiber...I have a strong family history of colon cancer. I also try to keep my sugar low. My dietitian says it's important also to watch sodium...but I don't usually go over on that. So, in other…

Thank you! I wish we had stairs at work...I work in a single story building...but I have be trying to walk a little bit more often. I don't have a problem getting my water in...I always have a bottle of water, or crystal light with me. I also drink diet soda...which I'm trying to cut back on. Thanks for your reply!

Bad day at work....Went straight for the chips, although I had carrot sticks on my desk...ugh! Need to learn to do something "constructive" when faced with hurtful situations. How is someone to break the "emotional" eating pattern? Any suggestions?

If you've got your calories, protein, and sugars for the day, try a tablespoon of Metamucil, or fiber tabs. There's a fiber tab out there that tastes like sweet-tarts.
