I like the power walking tapes. The burn up a sweat and give you extra calories to eat in the process. I'm using the Leslie Sansone . Her voice can be a little annoying but, boy I do get a good work out.

Thanks for that great tip! I think it's a habit to have the toast with eggs.

Congratulations! 24 years is no joke. Yes best thing to do is move along. I love the idea of the extra walking. Yesterday I ate too much so today I'll just do extra exercise today. Best to you.

I need help figuring this system out. I used the calculator and it said my BMR was 1490 and my TDEE was 2310. So if I want to lose 2lbs a week do I continue to eat the 1200 calories via myfitness pal or set it up differently. I exercise (aerobic & weights) 5-6 days a week for about 45 minutes each. Could really use help…

Most likely the majority of us who find this site have lost....gained....lost....gained over and over again. Me too! This is and will continue to be a life long issue for me. Each time I'm finding though that I learn something new about myself and my relationship to food. I've found some useful tips on this site and look…

What I've learned is that once someone comments that I've lost weight it usually sabotages me. So for me I'd rather people just keep their comments about my weight or anyone else's weight to themselves. In my opinion...don't worry about what people say about your weight after all you are doing this for yourself.

I know how hard this is to do alone. You've got my support.

It's been some time since I logged on. But, I am going to need friends as well for support. I'm 59 and just gained back the 20 or so pounds I lost before. Though I did keep my exercise routine going and proud of that.

My goal is to track my food every day. Lose 1 pound a week. Add an aerobic activity and do it no less than 1 day a week.

Well that would be me. I started MFP at 175 and willing to go 1-2 pounds a week until I reach my goal. I plan to go for 20lbs and then once there see if I want to go lower. I'm working toward the idea of maintenance. Keeping track of what and how much I eat. I'm looking for supportive friends. I should add that I am 58…

I'm new to this group but, like the idea of a challenge a day. This afternoon I has a banana on some cranberry bread with peanut butter.

This info is helpful because for me giving up deserts once in awhile is truly ridiculous. At least for me. Thanks for the listing. By the way this is my first week. Looking forward to support from these entries.
