  • Interesting to me that there aren't even more people posting and complaining about this issue, especially considering it's been 4+ days and that it must be affecting the masses using MFP on desktop. @MFP When can we expect a fix on this?
  • Thanks. Yeah, I would agree that signs are pointing to a pinched nerve. Which makes sense as I have had sciatica on my left side, when walking around at a heavier weight. I don't have it now, but this could be connected to the numbness in my left shin. For now, I am referring to the info in this article:…
  • The numbness usually appears the morning after the workout, and it lasts maybe 2-3 days max, without me doing anything (no icing, stretching, medication, etc). I simply avoid jumping for awhile, as I correlate the jumping with the 'injury'. But I will check my arches, thanks for the tip. :)
  • Honestly, no I haven't done much stretching, outside of my normal cool down. I do take calcium and magnesium supplements, and I get plenty of protein. So nutrition-wise, I am good. I find it odd that this is happening on only one side, so perhaps I should take the advice to see a chiropractor...at some stage.
  • Agree, jalapenos can be a tricky one. I can find jalapenos in most stores around me, but in a little expensive jar. Black beans, same story. However, not too far from me, I found an Asian store and a Middle Eastern store that sell large jars of jalapenos and beans, as well as many other ingredients which I use in my daily…
  • You can add me and my diary is open. Mainly vegan for 2+ years, and now I am really focused on eating at least 90% plant-based. FYI- I am located in Denmark and may have Danish or German ingredients, but feel free to message me with any questions :) I love cooking tasty stuff and heavily use Pinterest to find recipes. If…
  • I'm 5'8 and also looking for new friends. Just starting up again, my 2nd time around...I lost 60 pounds, and sadly, I have gained it back over the past 4 years. Anyway, feel free to add me!
  • I have also had the same issues for several weeks and have tried everything suggested here. All apps are up-to-date; FitBit is receiving info from MFP, just not the other way around. Anyone know if this is still a known/on-going issue? Or who I should contact to help fix it?
  • hrm, not from the UK, but looking to have more pals in my time zone! American/Portuguese living in Southern Denmark. Feel free to add! :)
  • Bravo!! What an accomplishment! I've lost and maintained a 50lb loss the last few years, but also have another ~20lbs to lose. I'd love to follow your progress and see you reach your goals, and vice versa :) Sending a FR now.
  • Anyone can add me! I'm in my early 30's and have maintained a +50lb loss for a few years using MFP. Still working on reaching my goal weight/bf%. NOTE: I live in Denmark, so I'm more active/supportive for friends in a similar time zone :)
  • just added you! :)
  • Adding you now! 30 yo American living in Denmark. Visited Belfast once…had a grand time :)
  • Wow, incredible progress! Well done!!
  • Happened to me twice, by complete strangers…both were women. The first was a receptionist at a Honda car dealership. She asked when I was due. I simply told her I wasn't pregnant, and promptly got rid of the sundress I was wearing that day, lol. A few years later, it happened again. This older woman actually rubbed my…
  • haha, 30 yo female here…I'll add ya! :)
  • Hi there! I'm 30 yo, 5'8…60+lbs lost since joining MFP…been working on losing the last 10-15lbs this past year : / Patience is crucial ;) I log daily. All are welcome to add me!
  • This has probably come up before, but I've had strangers pat my belly and ask when I was due…on 3 separate occasions. I've never been pregnant. : /
  • ^^Same here! I'm definitely an addict, hopping on 2-10 times a day (I don't keep count :))…but it's more for fun and awareness. I know my body much better now and am aware that it tends to hold and drop water weight easily for various reasons. I use Hackers Online to calculate the trend, and I don't stress over…
  • I look OLDER now than I did 1.5 years and 60+ pounds ago. I'm revealing many more smile lines and creases around my cheeks and eyes.… I'm okay with it because I'm the fittest and healthiest I've ever been. I can rock a bikini and lift heavy things, so a few added smile lines don't bother me so much.
  • Well, this is definitely not a rant …but I found the DL exchange process interesting in Portugal. It started with the doctor. A doctor ordered me to have several medical tests done. SO, at one clinic I had blood-work done. Went to another for a CAT scan of my chest. And finally to another town for an EKG for the heart.…
  • Hej! Jessica here from Olive Branch, Mississippi. Moved from New Jersey to central Portugal with my man and fat cat 2.5 years ago. We enjoyed a mini early retirement, traveling all over and visiting the family I have in Europe. We just moved to southern Denmark 5 weeks ago for a great job opportunity. I'm still unemployed…
  • Thanks for the add! We plan on visiting Copenhagen soon…and I don't eat Marmite (not sure if I've ever had it) so that's a non-issue for me ;) We moved to a small town called Nordborg. I'm actually surprised at the vast food selection in every store here: products for Sushi/Aisian, Mexican, etc…I had a hard time finding…
  • Awesome thread! Everyone's welcome to add me! Originally from Mississippi…moved from Portugal to Denmark a month ago. Just now settling in and becoming familiar with the many new and different food products here. Funny, I find it's actually more similar to the US than to Portugal in terms of packaging and quality. No…
  • I use the equation found in the below article and eat at least 90% of my calories back on the lifting days. I'm losing, so I'd guess it gives an accurate estimation of calories burned. On cardio days, I try to NET over my BMR. I also prefer the MFP method so I eat a different total of calories each day…turns out my average…
  • I had mine pierced at age 18 and took it out when I was 27. It just wasn't cute with all that extra belly fat. Anyway, I was surprised that after 2 years of NO ring at all, I was able to slide one in with ease a few months back. Perhaps your workout clothes or the exercising you're doing is rubbing it the wrong way? Can't…
  • Alrighty, here it goes. I'm primarily focusing on lowering my bf%, so it would be great to get your estimate. I use the scale output solely to track the trend, as I doubt I'm as low as it's analyzing. I'm 5'8, 144lbs. Let me know if you need any addt'l pics. And thanks!!! Front: Relaxed……Flexed Side: Relaxed…….Flexed Back:…
  • Yay, I'm in! So excited…great challenge OP. And BUMP so others join in!
