I started P90X today. I loved it. I have completed ChaLEAN Extreme and Iove that. Tried Insanity and struggled but decided I didn't want to continue so I am doing P90X. I really do love the weight lifting! Would love to join you on this journey. Bev

leslie...i've had lots of weeks without much movement on the scale but as you can see from the weight loss and inches (total 23) and 15% fat loss (according to the caliber)...CLX works...maybe not as much as we would wish but it works. Hi dglasl, The sequence for CXL goes Burn 1, rest day, Burn 2, Burn Intervals & abs, Burn 3, Burn in off & recharge, rest day. I usually don't take two days off and put in a cardio workout on one of those days. You really need to make sure you have a day BETWEEN lifting for your muscles to recover. Hope that helps! Bev

Here's why its tough...heavy weights + 10-12 reps + lower body + an "let's get extreme" after every one! You can do it...I am and I've never ever lifted weights…

If you are really finding it difficult not to do something on rest days. You can still do stretches. Actually, if you have P90X, it does say on their calendar rest OR stretch. So...try that :bigsmile:

Jayelle--when I'm not using a HRM, I usually only count burn intervals, and burn it off as cardio. I use the high aerobics option. It's been pretty close to my HRM. It's a good guess anyway.
