the fact that you don't have to drive hours from the city to hit the hills and country! Our beaches are absolutely beautiful, the wineries are on our doorstep and our weather is perfect!!

I am sorry to say this but.... over and out!! I have had to deal with bronchitis the last week or so, and there was no way I could exercise! That, as well as the foot....well, it is time I bail out! Thanks for having me! It was def fun while it lasted. :smile:

I am just wondering if people use LG to lose weight or use it to when they are lean to bulk up the muscle and to get leaner?? I am not only seeing LG to lose weight, but to have it as a healthy lifestyle. I have been told that it is mainly used for the latter, not to lose weight.

The more you eat sugar, the more you will crave it. That is why cold turkey works. You will get headaches if you go cold turkey, you will feel ill and you will feel tired .... BUT.... it is the only way to go. Read labels and research. I have done it and the only sugar I had was an apple or another piece of fruit. There is a guy at the gym that can tell if I have had a binge on sugar - my eyes are DEAD!…

You being a male, I would say you are eating too little calories in your day. Sorry to say this, but i have heard the Dukan isn't all it's cracked up to be. Protien shakes are protien which is a food. Protien isn't exercise, so they aren't 'exercise calories'. How many shakes are you having in the day? I wouldn't substitute them for real food, but having the shake after your workout is the better option.

Sorry, I was meant to say thanks to the people replying to my post about PMT hunger. I am really happy to know that it is do-able. I can't wait to see what happens when it hits me. I think I might start this AFTER that TOM as I will have more energy and be able to go for longer without food.

Saw the physio today and i have inflammation of the tendon that runs along the tibia probably caused by my plantar fascia! So, most of my cardio has been on the treadmill - jogging and walking. Now that I can't do that until my calf is rested, it will be hard for me to burn any calories when I am away from the gym!! Looks…

I have been ravenous for the last couple of days and realised it is nearly that TOM.....so, my question to the ladies doing LG or ESE is how do you deal with your cravings and hunger when IF? I am actually hoping you will all say that it dissappeared and there has been no problems coming up to that time or during! :wink:

Don't know if you are or not, but are you BREASTFEEDING?? If you are, you need heaps more than 1200 calories. 1200 calories is mainly for people who do alot of sitting and not much exercise. I know you said you do eat back the calories (or most) but I still think you are under-eating!! Try eating more, and make it clean…

Question....is this Mon to Fri or Mon to Sun?? If it is Mon to Fri, then I had better get my butt on the treadmill tonight because my gym session was mainly a measure and weight time!! If it is the latter, then I am safe cos I will be on the tready tomorrow jogging!!

I don't do the whole 5 min cool down but continue to walk fast and then cool down after it has finished. 5 min for a cool down is a loooong time, IMO.
