This happened to me two when I started 30DS. I spiked up a few pounds, then up, then down, up again, and now back down. I think it's my body's way of revolting against the new activity. It's been 2 weeks and the trend seems to be lower spikes, which is good. I am going to be patient and see what happens.

Been married 12 years and we still say I love you every day, multiple times a day, even on days we may fight. And I tell my son I love him about a 1000 times a day, he must think I am nuts. I don't recall anyone ever saying it to me as a kid so I want to make sure he remembers! :)

Also 5"2". Have lost about 20 lb. Have 20 more to go to meet my goal weight of 130. My super goal is 125. I am a medium frame.

L1D10 today! When I started I stopped losing weight, but it started coming off as of today. And man, was I sore the first few days, but now I don't get sore at all. The push-ups for me are the worst. I definitely feel a difference. Not sure if I see one yet, but I took my before pic, and can't wait to compare in 20 more…

Agreed. I didn't make that comment because of the raw factor, I was thinking more about passing along mercury and things like that to the baby.

I tend to go for sashimi over sushi since it has no rice. The protein + carb mix on sushi wreaks havoc on my tummy. I try to limit my raw fish intake to about once a month or every 2 months. I drink it one to two times a day. I like using something called MimicCream Almond & Cashew Creamer in place of milk when I can. Lactose free and low-calorie.

I love green tea. I try to have a cup a day. I like Tazo China Green Tips. It has a cedary smell that reminds me of home.

I keep a variety of food at work / or bring to work for snacks: - brown rice cakes (unsalted) - peanut butter (to go w/rice cakes) - almonds - cut up veggies: carrots, etc - fruit: apple, banana, orange, grapes - cheese - yogurt - a small tupperware of tuna salad (with chopped veggies) - almond rice crackers (to go w/tuna)

I used to like it with crushed Doritos, but I guess that's why I am here :( Black pepper is great with it. I also like using it as a cheese substitute on veggie burgers.

I saw this thread the other day, and came back to post. Last night over skype my mom (my harshest critic all my life) says: "Wow, I can really see in your face how you've lost weight". I smile. And wait for it... Then she says "Now your cheeks are going to droop and you will get jowls and need botox." I am 37 years old!…
