That's terrible :( Some people are so evil and don't know how to support or build others and just try to scrap out some self-worth by taring others down. I don't have a lot of advice except, be kind to yourself. Maybe do a little sluething, how do you feel after particular meals? (grains make me tired, eggs always make my…

@corinasue1143 -- used to live across from the wheat filed in Kildeer Oklahoma. Most of Oklahoma is known by the local grain COOP ;-P We would ride our bikes up there and buy atomic fire ball jaw breakers. Family is Kaw Tribe and from Kaw City / Ponca City respectively. We had a farm / ranch when I was little, had a bit of…

Hey I love the photos and long post @Fyreside, I think the more we post and post about our lives the more tight knit and supportive our group becomes which is pretty awesome! The pics look a lot like Eastern Oregon but I didn’t recognize the pine, it almost looked like the drought hardy Ponderosa but it’s more compact, a…

Aww’ @plainanjelik — I feel bad for ya. My go to is coffee flavored ice cream (and cokes and french fries — I am trying to do a little better!) @MmamabearR — jumping? Was that the challenge this week? I don’t jump either. :( Mushrooms turn out to be very picky about what tree bark or dead leaves or moss they grow on. It’s…

@Fyreside — I’m about to get back into the exercise swing of things too. Lets try to post everyday this week and upcoming and maybe keep each other going. I think I’m ready to take on serious training again. I love the red mushrooms, that’s a Fly Agaric. It’s probably the easiest mushroom for me to identify anyway. :-)

@plainanjelik — Oh cool! That’s a really interesting field. I’ve been studying fungi because up here in the PNW we have an unusually high number / variety of species and sub species and rare types and I found out that we have a type of fungus that will, often fatally, infect people. It is from the tropics originally but…

@plainanjelik — hang in there, you’re doing great. :-) What is your major in grad school?

@ccrdragon — absolutely love IF, I just didn’t do it the right way last time. This go around is totally different. Last time I read to sip coffee and drink broth — none of that this time. Just mineral water. I feel so much better there aren’t words to describe it. Even if I don’t lose weight, I am going to stick with it.…

Today I tried out Intermittant Fasting, last time didn’t go so well which was last year, but today wasn’t so bad. I have made a lot of changes to how I eat and what I eat since last year and CCRDragon mentioned easing into it so today I broke my fast at 1:30pm, and hope to work up to 3pm in a month or so gradually. I was…

@plainanjelik -- Hey thanks, I'll take a look at editing my macros. I'm not sure if I am so good at sticking to stuff, I often just eat but I should probably start watching those :)

Does anyone have good info about how to partition macros? I get so much mixed information from Google. Trying to fit in pizza and ice cream ;-P haha (Is that the junk macro? Can I set that to 80?) I walked a lot yesterday, not too far but for a long time -- SO HUNGRY today, lol. But I'm feeling better and I did my hair and…

I have beginner level kidney disease - seriously, once your kidneys get screwed up you're in for a world of problems.

On the road today, toured a college for my son. They went over everything but what they had to offer in the way of education. Everything was about ‘making the student comfortable’ at all times. It’s a different world than the one I grew up in for sure. I think I’m going to try IF again with a low-ish carb approach. I just…

Good for you!

I would get very tired and fatigued after almost every single meal - I can't digest grains particularly "healthy whole grains" - they really make me sick. Not that grain is your issue, just saying it could be a 'healthy' food you have adopted.

Spending another day alone with my cat! Introvert - doing it right. ;-P (although yeah, it does get lonely - but I'm committed!) (*sobs* but please add me as a friend, omg the alone! THE ALONE!)

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? no. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? no. Going to use my pass for today.

November 1 Exercised?: Yes. Calories?: Yes. Tracked?: Yes. Mischief Managed.

Been battling the fatigue again this week - really has me bummed out. I needed to go to the store today and ended up taking a caffeine pill to get by. I bought a bunch of probiotic stuff including — Goat Milk Kefir — yeah it sounds hideous! But who knows, maybe my GI will love it and give me the boost I need. My exercise…

@explodingmango - I have a running bag I throw in my car that has ice packs you have to break the little thing inside for it to get cold, but always have ice packs and ibuprophen and a first aid kit handy. It's like a luck thing I think, once you put your emergency kit together you'll never use it ;-P However - I'm sure…

I spent the morning out at the National Park with my son. I'm finally feeling well enough to start volunteering regularly. He's a senior in high school and is going to dress up in buckskin and give presentations on special visitor days. I usually do trail patrol or help with runs, getting stuff broke down & put away after…

@Fyreside -- whoa 10kg - 22lbs in one month? Did I even read that right? That's incredible. *High Five* !! WOW. I totally share your food rant Fyreside. I was shocked by that as well, I had no idea all our 'fresh produce' was being funneled through a single mega company - I was clueless - it's very disquieting. Next year…

I guess in the US there is a major veggie recall http://www.miamiherald.com/living/food-drink/article180279086.html I don't have cable tv or anything so I'm probably late to the news. But anyway, if you eat raw veggies from Walmart, Safeway or many other places you might want to check that out. Continued Yoga today -…

I have some health problems with my GI / immune and have been really working on my food. I finally have discovered I can't eat grains, I haven't realized all my problem foods yet, but that has alleviated about 80% of my symptoms. I'm a huge fan of running, read books about it, watch youtube about it, dream about it -- but…
